i’m a 17 year old who recently learned to crochet and cannot stop making things. i’m gonna set up a stall at a craft fair, not fussed about making a living from it, just having fun :) any tips?
my work is pretty tidy and ready to sell and i have stuff to appeal to the vast majority of the crowd, from little stress balls to teddies to bags to functional items, i love making and don’t mind if i flop, but would love to get a bit of pocket money back from my efforts, does anyone with more experience selling at fairs have any tips?

I own a small tile business and sometimes me or the other owner have to purchase materials for a job. How do I account for and track getting reimbursed for the purchased materials?
For example, let's say I invoice a client $1,100. $1,000 for labor, $100 for materials (cost of materials + tax). I should only bear the tax burden for the $1,000 of labor, and I should be able to pass the $100 through to the client. So, on my invoice, I will simply label two separate lines: Labor and Materials. Then, when tax season comes along, I will only report the $1,000 as income, and I will simply treat the $100 as a reimbursement. As long as I have properly saved proof of this purchase being a material acquisition for said job, I should be good right? Am I missing something?

I Neep Advice!
I (f16) started doing Macrame recently. My mom had a cool idea for a necklace, and couldn't figure out how to do it. I did instead and was super proud of the necklaces that I did. My mom had seemed to truly like them as well. I brought up the idea of maybe selling them. She said if I wanted to I could try. So I had thought a bout starting my own small business. I just have no idea how to get started or if I even really should?
