Bakery business help for my friend, she wants advice from reddit but doesn't really know how to use it so I thought I'd post on here for her lol
I was wondering if anyone has any advice for my baking business situation. I currently use a shared kitchen which is extremely far away and there isn't any other that's closer. I'd really like to bake from home but I rent and I live with animals. I've considered buying a food truck and just station it in the yard but I'm unsure. Any advice? Anything helps!!!!

Equity question
Simple question that I don't seem to grasp. Lets say a company is split between 3 owners, each owning an equal share. Owner A decides to sell out and his share of the company is valued at 12 million. The other 2 owners can't afford it, so they take out a loan to buy him out. The loan is against the company and paid for by the company. So the equity or shares are now owned *by the company* correct? Leaving 2/3rds to the original owners, and 1/3 as authorized, but not distributed shares? We are talking small biz here, but they would essentially control those shares as majority share holders, giving them the right to gift them to themselves as compensation correct (obviously would still have tax implications)?

Is there any other alternative to Zoom without activity tracking? The majority of our employees are complaining about Zoom's feature of tracking activity.
Most of our employees are concerned about Zoom's activity tracking, stating they felt anxious about it, etc. We are not that big of a company, and I have been thinking about this a lot lately. I don't want my employees to feel like they are being micromanaged or judged by what the metrics tell me. And, we don't even use the metrics.

W9 Request from Tax Exempt Customer?
I'm curious if/why a tax exempt customer (educational from Texas) would require a W9 form from us (selling physical products online). In the past I've only collected Resale or Exemption certificates from the customer then made adjustments on our store to omit sales tax. In this case they want a W9...? I thought the W9 would be for contractors/vendors of services for which you will pay more than $600 to. Can anyone explain?

Is there a unicorn software??
Hello! I work for a small business (read: 6 people). We are looking to see if there is a program out there to assist us in our day to day operations. Our business services and sells medical equipment, and we are looking for a program that could do all (or most) of these: \-Scheduling for service technician(s) \-Physical Inventory Management \-Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Quotations, Invoices, etc \-Drop-shipping \-Client communication log We would love to find something where if a client calls we can pull up their file which will show everything we have sold, serviced, any communication logs that have been made, etc. Is this a unicorn?

Payment gateway that accepts company in crypto space
I’m not gonna mention the company (so you don’t think this is som kind of AD). We developed an application (crypto bot) that users connect to their exchanges and use the app to trade. We are now trying to implement onlne payments/subscriptions, but every payment gateway provider we try to contact, they deny our business. Just to clarify our business does not use cryptocurrency (only our clients), we only sell software. Anyone know any payment gateway provider that has “lighter” policies? We tried already Stripe, Braintree and BlueSnap. We are based in Europe.

I want to start doing performance reviews. Does anyone have a good template to suggest?
I myself have never had a performance review, but my employees ask for and seem to really value feedback, and for a couple I think the format would really help them out (keeners who like to set goals). It would be cool if it covered a few things: 1. Feedback from me to them 2. Feedback from them to me - airing of the greivances 3. Ideas on things we could do to improve the business 4. Discussion of goals/targets they want to take on This seems like A LOT though, and maybe it's too much? Open to any thoughts on successful performance reviews.

Best employee Christmas gifts
The best gift is a bonus, obviously. But I like to give something that usually costs between $50-100. I have 8 remote employees. In the past I've done monogrammed jackets, glassware. Any good ideas?
