What did you once shill and now regret?
I wonder if anyone from this sub once shilled a project to death, and now regrets it. We all know the unwritten rule of a good shill: create hype to make someone buy the crypto you also hold and want to make money on. I participated in the Algorand hype, and made friends buy it. I showed them how easy it was to set up a wallet and how fast the network was. They were impressed. They bought it. I doubt it they made money on it. A good old real life shill. Regret! And someone on this sub was talking about the next Ethereum killer: Harmony One. I was really believing it and bought some of it. I became like the person on this sub. I started shilling Harmony One everywhere. Honestly I've got no clue why, and why I was so pathetic. Regret! What crypto did you shill and now regret of doing?

Alex Jones refused a 10,000 bitcoin gift in 2010, worth $303,120,000 today
Alex Jones best knows for his conspiracy theories about chemicals in the water turning frogs gay and the Sandy Hook mass shooting being staged turns out to be a bigger idiot than previously thought. It turns out that back in 2010 Max Keiser offered Alex Jones 10,000 btc as gift but Alex Jones could figure out how to set up a wallet and his lack of trying led to Max Keiser calling him and idiot and refusing to do an interview with him as well as not giving him the 10,000 btc. you can listen to Alex Jones tell the story [HERE](https://twitter.com/BitcoinNewsCom/status/1647044061591732234?s=20) Max Keiser also tweeted about it, see image below. https://preview.redd.it/sragnx0hf3ua1.png?width=506&format=png&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=14c787c4be9ba7a689ea02438ba8c618546b73ee TLDR: Alex Jones has regrets

The top 15 coins on CoinMarketCap.com - exactly 9 years ago today
Here's a screenshot I have saved in an old Imgur account of the top 15 coins on CoinMarketCap from exactly 9 years ago today: [https://imgur.com/xuDBINs](https://imgur.com/xuDBINs) I remember saving this because it was a very good green day for the whole crypto scene. * Bitcoin had increased 13.89% in the last 24 hours to $499. * Litecoin in second place increased a similar percentage of 14.45%, to $12.50. * Peercoin in 3rd place pumped a whopping 43% in 24 hours, whilst Namecoin down in 7th pumped 67%! Those of you not familiar with the crypto scene back then probably won't even recognise half of these coins - things have definitely changed a lotsince then. I have to admit I can't remember much of BitShares-PTS or Quark to mention a couple. Back then, exchanges like BTC-e were pretty much the order of the day. Any degens here remember trading on that? Hope none of you got stung when it was busted by the feds in 2017.

What caused bitcoin to change over the years?
When i read about bitcoin back in 2009-2011 i read about a coin that you could mine basically for free just with an internet connection. Why can’t you do that anymore? What happened to that? Why did it become so much harder to mine bitcoin? Because there are less available to mine? Also in the 2011-2013 era with Silk Road being very big the used bitcoin as a payment system. And back then bitcoin was this special new internet currency which was untraceable, but it’s is traceable now? Why was it untraceable back then and not anymore? Could the fact that bitcoin gained so much popularity over the years (especially after 2018) make it less “special” in the ways I mentioned? I’ve always found bitcoin fascinating and cool, the fact that it’s an internet currency that is against inflation and could easily be used as a alternative currency for countries with massive inflation like Argentina is crazy. Just a random guy and the internet. Peace.

What does the future of crypto look like for you?
I'm talking 20-30 years into the future, not next month or next year. Do you see many of today's coins or tokens still being in use? Will Bitcoin be used more widely than anything else? Could it even be a de facto world currency? Will governments have regulated crypto into (almost) non existence? Maybe it depends on your view of crypto generally. I know some of you are Bitcoin purists, whereas many others are in crypto to make money (even if we don't always admit it). I honestly find it very difficult to imagine what the future holds for crypto. The pace of technoloical development blows my mind sometimes. Anyway, what do you think?

I didn't Lose Gen3 Avatar but I got a cheap one for free
I just saw someone ( u/noobzarathustra) got scammed for his gen3 avatar while he was trying to sell it for moons and i have a story to tell I had a similar experience where i wanted a cool avatar, but the opposite happened I went to some avatar and NFT sub, and asked how could I get a cool avatar and if there's a free drop? Which there was a few weeks ago People were helpful, someone showed me how to get that free drop when i couldn't bcs my country doesn't support blockchain tech And another one literally texted me to offer me a free avatar, and i thought he was a scammer so he sent me his opensea profile and saw he's legit and has alot of collectibles I gave him my metamask and few hours later i received 5 avatars and my opensea account looks cool now 😎 Better than that empty account lol So what i wanna say is, there's still good people in this sub so don't let the filthy ones blind you guys Have a nice one!
