Star Party Planning
Hi, Has anyone here ever hosted a star party? If so, what do you feel was a success and what would you do differently ? Also, for anyone that's ever attended one, what were things that did or did not work for how much you enjoyed the event? I have a few telescopes and a van with heat and means to make hot chocolate and hope to start hosting them regularly. Thanks in advance for any ideas!

NASA's Dr. Stefanie Milam talks about the rings of Uranus, from the new JWST image.
“Breathtaking” new images of Uranus just released from NASA's Webb telescope show its rings more clearly than we’ve ever seen. James Webb Space Telescope planetary scientist Uranus is a rare planet to capture due to its difficult-to-see rings made of ice and dust. The new JWST image showcases the planet and its elusive rings in great detail, including its moons and photobombing galaxies in the background. The new image will help provide insights into Uranus and its surroundings. This achievement comes after the successful imaging of Jupiter and Neptune by the JWST and adds to the excitement and anticipation for future discoveries.
