If Fees are high now how will crypto handle bigger adoption

So i was sending some bitcoin and fee was 7$, much higher than the usual 1$, i set the fee to 3$, and thought it’d be fine. Its been multiple days now,and it hasn’t transferred. And looking at the bitcoin average fee now, its upwards in about 30$ which is insane I heard that there’s something going on right now thats taking up all the network thus causing the very high average fees. I was wondering though, if you all want crypto to become the standard currency worldwide as the dominating one, then how will all the traffic that that would bring not cause the same, or worse network traffic of now and cause insanely high fees that will end up making it worse than normal currency? Also i know there are cryptos with no fees and are near instant, but why didn’t those become the norm / most popular and instead bitcoin is? Curious about your thoughts. Im quite a newbie on this so I’m not sure if this all is a stupid question.

I switched my shitcoins/Alts into BTC and ETH and I couldn’t feel better

This has to have been the smartest decision in crypto I’ve ever made. I’ve neglected the blue chips for so long that I’ve actually lost more money than if I would’ve stayed invested in those two. The more I thought about how little of BTC and ETH I have the more it started to piss me off. I would always hear things like “people always go through the cycle of chasing massive gains and then at the end of it go back to BTC/ETH” I had a handful of 10-100Xs and as a fairly new investor I was so stuck up that I never listened until all my profits came crashing down. While I am not in a loss, I am pretty much right back to where I started. It’s pretty disappointing but atleast I had enough sense to not buy everything at the top. Switching to the blue chips has also improved my mental health as a result

I love Moons just like the other guy but they make this sub pretty boring!!!

Everyone is careful just to say the thing that is already popular in the sub as to get moons and not lose their moons due to downvotes. This creates a very boring environment where people delete even good insights instantly after a single downvote and not to mention the mass downvoting which plays a big role in this sentiment. I want actual warring disscussions about Crypto and the tech but what we mostly get are the same rundown jokes or opinions and the worst part is you are punished for having differing or critical opinions and essentially lose their earned moons. Just had to say what I observed being active in the sub!!! A lot of gem posts and comments too but I think many people are held back with the fear of downvotes and losing moons on top of it!!!

Do you trust your government it comes to the future of crypto?

While there have been many steps forward in some countries when it comes to adoption, others have been pushing hard against it for years and it seems like they are not gonna stop anytime soon. Do you trust your country and government to adopt new tech and progress or are you worried they are stuck in the past. There are people from all around the world on here, some from very conservative countries and some from progressive countries so I would be interested to know how things are going in your country and what you think the future holds.

Didn't report crypto on my taxes, will I get in big trouble?

Im going to be honest, I am 18 years old and don't really understand taxes a lot, and I did not report my crypto transactions on my taxes. I really only used crypto for sports betting, where I would buy crypto, send it to a website, and then when withdrawing, I would receive the crypto, and sell it for cash. Because I wasn't holding crypto and received less than $600 I figured I wouldn't have to report anything, but it looks like I do. Has anyone else here not reported crypto on their taxes and been fine? And If the IRS does notice, will I just get a notice or something that I can then go about paying, or would it be something more severe?

Ethereum Price Just Signaled “Sell” And It’s Vulnerable to More Losses

Ethereum value began a contemporary decline beneath the $1,920 stage towards the US Greenback. ETH might lengthen losses if there’s a clear transfer beneath the $1,840 help. Ethereum is shifting decrease from the $1,940 resistance zone. The worth is buying and selling beneath $1,900 and the 100-hourly Easy Transferring Common. There’s a main bearish pattern line forming with resistance close to $1,900 on the hourly chart of ETH/USD (knowledge feed by way of Kraken). The pair might proceed to maneuver down if there’s a clear transfer beneath $1,840.
