This bear market is the smoothest bear market, has crypto matured or is more pain to come?
I've heard so many bear market horror stories and as a young investor I have not witness a bear market before. People who has been around many cycles before tell that subs like these are almost abandoned during bears, suicide hotlines getting pinned and sad sob stories about losses are frequently posted here. None of this I see! So my questions: Are we in a real bear market? Has crypto matured and is (slightly) less volatile? Is this bear market near to its end (it's 2 years bears straight!)? Or can it even get worse? The consensus among economists is that the Fed will pause soon (next FOMC or later) and the pivot will come in 2024. Markets already calculate this in, too. Like you all, I wish the bull market to finally return. These 2 years crabbing and downtrends are more boring than painful.

Blockchain gaming -- is it all hype?
I see lots of projects but nothing really seems to work or be necessary, for that matter... * IMX is a good idea but I don't fully get why other Ethereum L2's like Polygon can't do the job. * Games like Illuvium have been in the making for at least 2 years with nothing but fancy trailers that have nothing to do with the real gameplay. * YGG is a popular token in some circles but I can't wrap my head around the need for this token/project. All in all it looks like this niche is still only promises with nothing of value. I would think that the most promising path forward would be to 'tokenize' existing top games instead of making new ones. For this I don't think one would need dedicated blockchains like IMX. However it appears that most projects are actually about new games, all of which I've seen pretty bad. Any thoughts? I look forward to a fruitful discussion on this niche.

Thoughts on Hunt2Earn?
Basically, just imagine in-real-life NFT treasure hunting or hunting for NFTs as if you were playing Pokemon GO. NFT Collections will be able to launch exclusive drops that can only be found/claimed by going out into the world and searching for them and at the same time, users will be able to earn in-game currency while they are looking around. I think it could be a pretty big NFT narrative over the next year as this type of activity allows NFT projects to mobilize their communities and bring a whole new level of immersion and experience to collecting NFTs beyond just mints, meetups, and shitposting on twitter/discord. I'm very curious to see the interest level around this.
