Yoga pillows
I've been looking at making myself a yoga pillow. Seems most are filled with buckwheat hulls. But these are really expensive in the UK. Any advice? Alternative fillings, size and shape? I'm 5 foot or 152cm I've just restarted yoga. Finding that I'm more flexible than I thought I'd be (I'm 45 and overweight đŹ) I do sit on the floor quiet comfortably but it has been suggested it would help with my posture having a pillow

How much yoga is too much?
I am new to yoga. I do not take classes, so I follow youtube practices at home. How much is too much? I find myself always looking forward to doing yoga because it is really the only time that I can be completely carefree, so I want to do it multiple times a day, but I do not want to over do it and get burnt out or injure myself. For clarification: I mainly do gentle, mostly seated deep stretching yoga, but I want to get into stronger yoga when I am ready for it! :-) How much is too much for both of those types? (I do not know what the different styles of yoga are called, so I am sorry if I am hard to understand)

If youâre on the fence just do it
I have done yoga at home off and on. I was always hesitant about going to a class in public. I had misconceived notions about the people I would meet. After about four classes at our gym Iâm glad I did it. Doing about one to two classes a week and loving it. Although if not for my wife I probably wouldnât have started. So if youâre apprehensive and not sure just give it a shot.

Leading yoga retreat tips
Hi, Iâm going to be leading my first yoga retreat in November. Any tips for things to definitely avoid or things you loved when you attended (/led) one? Maybe youâll have some ideas I can incorporate/things to be aware of :) Many thanks! đ PS Iâm a trained yoga, pranayama & meditation teacher so weâll be doing those plus some sightseeing and hiking in the area

Yin at the wrong time of day...
Anyone else make the mistake of doing a Yin class in the morning, go about your day only to realize later that your hips hate you? I certainly know better but ugh am I sore!

Practicing
Hi! I am quite new to yoga, I just have started. Is it okay to practice poses without doing a whole session? I mean I do hot bikram yoga about 3x per week. There are some poses that I really want to improve on because I like them but I am not even close to that stage. I am guessing if I could do some practice at home focusing on these poses? Especially 16,19,20. Thank you!

Quick Question About Down Dog
My wrists hurt a lot during the pose. I've tried spreading my fingers and pressing into the mat, but the weight just falls on my wrists. Is there something I'm not doing that I should be? Anyone else having this problem? If so, how did you overcome it?

Head lump from headstand (Shirshasana)
I've been practicing headstand for one year. I practice daily for around 20 minutes and really enjoyed the experience. However, since the beginning, a lump has formed on top of my head at the spot where my head touches the ground. It slowly grew. When I just finish the asana, it flattens but the lump form again gradually. It's hard like bones. The doctor told me it was a Lipoma and nothing to worry about.
