Have you invested more than you can afford to lose?

I see people all the time saying don't invest more than you can afford to lose but I feel like most of us spend a lot of time checking the charts because we are worried about out investments. I know a few people who have lost a lot of money recently, enough to send them into severe depression and it worries me what would happen to a great number of people if crypto collapses. I'm always tempted to buy more crypto during times like this but then I have to hold myself back because I truly can't afford to lose much at all. I think a lot of us here still live paycheck to paycheck and are hoping for the next bullrun to come soon, but nobody knows what is going to happen so just be careful.

How Many of You Actually Made Substantial Gains From Crypto so Far?

We have 6.4 million members now, there has to be some of us have to have made something doesn't even have to be big $10k+ is a huge gain imo, it can't just be losses all across the board here. I Just want some inspiration, am down around 60% in my portfolio but how are yall faring from 2021? All us who bought at the peak are hurting but have any of yall made gains since? However, even if a coin saw massive gains did we actually sell? Unrealized gains don't count just those locked in profits, need some motivation am here for the money!

Crypto and Mental health

TLDR; Impact of Bear Market on mental Health. I have noticed that since I started investing in crypto, my mental health has deteriorated. Not to a point where I can't cope but enough for me to notice the difference ie. Not sleeping well My main issues seem to be the constant need to check the charts even though I know this doesn't change anything. Then there is the ever changing crypto regulations or news that may affect my Investment that I feel I need to be aware of. When all this is combined with a bear market and the current economic climate. I've got to a point where I have decided I have invested enough and no more DCA'ing for the sake of my mental health. For those who've been through a few bear markets (this is my first), How do you deal with this?

I don't understand "hodl"

I understand that people should not sell their btc for fiat, that's fine. But aren't we suppose to have btc in circulation and try to pay for goods and services in order to raise the value of currency? I thought this sort of thing should be encouraged.

What crypto topic should I use for my Uni project?

Our University doctor gave us an assignment in InDesign to create a fake magazine. She told us we can use whatever subject we want for the contents of the magazine we want to make. The first thing that came to my mind was cryptocurrency, probably because of this Subreddit. But I'm not completely certain what exact cryptocurrency topic I should talk about. What topic do you think I should cover about crypto? It's not supposed to be a big magazine, so I'll probably have to do a topic that can be covered quickly. Also, she told us that on the back cover of the magazine, we need to put an advertisement for something related to the contents of the magazine. So what should I “advertise”? First thing I thought about was an advertisement for the Exodus wallet, as it's one of the wallets I use. But if anyone has a nicer idea, tell me! TLDR: Magazine InDesign project, contents can be any topic and looking for crypto related ideas. back cover need “advertisement” related to topic too.
