Elon Musk on Twitter: Starship payload is 250 to 300 tons to orbit in expendable mode. Improved thrust & Isp from Raptor will enable ~6000 ton liftoff mass.

Simply the best. Music legend Tina Turner sparkled across the stage and into millions of hearts as the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll. Her legacy will forever live among the stars. Credits: NASA, ESA, and H. Richer and J. Heyl (University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada); acknowledgement: J. Mack (STScI) and G. Piotto (University of Padova, Italy) Image Description: Closeup of a cluster of tightly-packed stars as seen by the Hubble Space Telescope. The sparkles are reminiscent of Tina Turner’s beaded and sequined dresses she would wear on stage. The center of the cluster has the most stars, where most are blue and white. Red and orange stars are found farther from the center.

Good places for finding telescope images of the planets?
Hi all, I’m working on a machine learning project that classifies the 8 planets in the solar system, and finding a large pool of pictures has been more difficult than I thought. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good website that has an archive of photos of the planets. NASA and ESA have far less than I thought.

Docking confirmed ✔ An uncrewed cargo craft successfully docked to the station’s Poisk module today at 12:19 p.m. EDT, delivering nearly three tons of food, fuel, and supplies to the Expedition 69 crew. Progress 84 lifted off on a Soyuz rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan earlier this morning; the resupply ship will spend roughly six months at the orbiting laboratory before undocking for a destructive but safe re-entry into Earth’s atmosphere to dispose of trash loaded by the crew. #nasa #science #progress #docking #international #space #station #roscosmos #soyuz #expedition69 #exp69

Bresser MC 127/1900 vs Skywatcher Skymax 127/1500 ?
I am looking for a MAK. I have two contenders, Bresser and Skywatcher. Both mak's have the same diameter, but not the same F# (12 for Skymax, 15 for Bresser). The bresser has a slightly smaller obturation, which is good. I would be tempted to go for the bresser, but I don't know what is the quality of fabrication compared to Skywatcher. Both scopes have more or less the same price (at least in EU). Does anyone have tested both? Thanks for your help
