Someone bought a Reddit NFT for 0.89 ETH ($1370.96)
The Senses collection is made up of these 3 avatars: https://preview.redd.it/8r8tpg9aywk91.png?width=560&format=png&auto=webp&s=7f1841a41b0408d5c1126130a593cfe33b2b036a "The Hands" avatar originally could be purchased on reddit $74.99. It was a series of 100 avatars. Yesterday #31/100 was resold for $1370.96 on opensea. The buyer has a collection of various other NFT's including a Bored Ape. The same guy also purchased "The Eyes" for $847.22. It was a series of 1000 avatars originally costing $9.99 each. https://preview.redd.it/904v38kfywk91.png?width=1376&format=png&auto=webp&s=89b8ed19ba8c7134a8544032c443d5729664b395 This could just be someone buying their own avatars faking volume/interest but it would be a bit of waste of money since there is a 5% royalty on all sales.

JP Morgan calls majority of cryptocurrencies a "junk" with no use-cases yet. Harsh criticism, but we cant disagree...
In another of JP Morgans statestments for Crypto they have just said that the majority of cryptocurrencies are a "junk" and the use cases of them have not "fully-evolved" yet. This is a pretty harsh critic for Crypto to call it "mostly" a junk but you can see where they are going with it and it's at least understandable. Obviously if you look at the crypto market we have 20k individual cryptos out of which 80% honestly do the same with just minor changes and the rest is probably new ideas that are either a straight up scam or too risky. Generally you can clearly see that there are thousands of scams in this space right now that make no contribution to the space but just get investors because of funny names. That's truth. There are indeed a lot of projects out there that do nothing for Crypto but are just made to get money for themselves.

Hacked: This is so frustrating…
My MetaMask wallet was hacked and a few thousands worth of ETH vanished. So long story short I got a notification that some ETH was sent from my wallet to another wallet, a transaction which was NOT initiated by me. Curiously, the transaction itself isn’t visible in my MetaMask history, so clearly this wasn’t a transaction I had made. You’d think this would be enough to resolve things, right? WRONG. After I contacted their support, MetaMask basically said they’d get back to me in a few days (still waiting for them to get back to me). I know there are lots of stories about hot wallets being hacked or people getting scammed, but this level of security t is frankly trash. Mind you, it’s not just about the ETH since I only keep a small amount for trading anyways. But I just feel robbed blind, and don’t get what I did wrong.

The main reason why I don't move my assets away from Centralized Exchanges is not because I love them rather because I am too afraid to mess it up even after a test transaction.
Am I the only one? It's not like that I am a big fan of Centralized Exchanges, it's just that uncomfortable feeling of moving them around, especially after so many stories of lost seed phrases, transactions gone wrong, hardware that is malfunctioning etc. The entire part of moving it to a soft wallet, hard wallet or even to a different exchange is the most stressful experience that I could experience in my crypto journey. Watching the red candles this year seems like nothing compared to the feeling of transferring your assets to a new destination. It just looks and feels complicated at times as it's very easy to mess things up big time! The entire process of moving your assets needs to simplify if we want mass adoption outside the CEX world.

Minneapolis FED President: "Happy to see how Powells speech was received". Yeah we are in for a lot more pain...
It was quite a weekend seeing Bitcoin collapse from 22k to 19k and all due to one man and one speech. Jerome Powell speaking at Jackson Hole about thr coming policy of the FED and he was pretty bearish saying that the currwnt inflation decline is not enough and they will continue their rate hikes. Now people from the FED like Neel Kashkari have admitted that this reaction of the markets was exactly what they wanted. They wanted that markets would crash after this speech because that would show how "serious" the FED is about getting inflation to 2%. That's also going to be continued pressure for Crypto as the FED won't pivot until they get their nearly impossible target done. We may be in for a more of a rocky ride...

Wrote a tool to generate historical PNL of any wallet on Ethereum
I've been trading crypto long before Uniswap was a thing. But during all those years, nobody to this day created a simple script to generate a ROI/PNL report for your DeFi trades. Tired of waiting, I decided to build it myself. As it stands, you can see a historical view of your trades / transactions and your monthly performance. So this tool aims to provide a historical overview of what actually happened. You can use it to: \- Track your own performance \- Analyze wallets/competitors for trading All the heavy lifting has been done and I would be grateful if some of you tried it out and suggested on metrics to add - it's all quite trivial at this stage. Please let me know in the comments which metrics I should add, or if you have some other ideas for me to implement. Here is a [demo address to check out](https://www.upline.finance/address/0x383424c79874bb0b0d5f0d578bd05b890dd14637). P.S. I am also adding 2 reports - NFT report + DeFi tax report next.
