The #flowersonfriday theme this week is “Flowering in your garden”. Sadly my garden is in Sweden and I live in Norway. Can’t cross the border due to Corona restrictions. So don’t know what’s flowering right now😔 But here’s some captures from last March... https://t.co/lq9qOKRCTu

From Holland, With Love 💌 This past Summer, following safety regulations, we traveled to The Netherlands to meet with the flower growers who contribute to our bouquets and learn how they make magic bloom 💐 #proflowers https://t.co/a0eVQ7Hcnq

The tulips are all above surface in the greenhouse and today they will get a little water since the greenhouse has been so dry. Reg did a really good job fixing our drainage issue, so good that it’s a literal dust bowl in there 🤣 I’m soaking sweet pea seeds today and getting ready to sprout them. I hope the ground begins to thaw quickly so they can go into the ground in about a month. Anemone and Ranunculus are being a royal pain in my side. I can’t wait to have a heated greenhouse for them next winter as long as all goes as planned!! 🎉 It’s mild and rainy here today. A good day to do some chores and hit the computer. Spring is so close you can smell it 👏🏼 #flowerfarmer #tulip #spring

Did you know..? The spectacular Jade vine (Strongylodon macrobotrys) is pollinated by bats in the wild 🦇 At Kew, our horticulturists mimic the bats by extracting the pollen by hand and then delicately spreading it onto the flowers using a paintbrush! https://t.co/H5tCVeU5P3
