Me and the sweet peas just trying to keep cool on another abnormally hot and humid June day. Thinking of my west coast farmers as they are hitting record temps well over 100 degrees today. Y’all got this πŸ™πŸ» Scary times we are living in. Makes me very appreciative of what I have. And how water should never, ever be taken for granted. #flowerfarmer #sweetpea #heatwave #thestruggleisreal

It is boiling hot here in Washington and we’re experiencing record temps for our area. They are calling for 110* tomorrow! We’ve been busy monitoring the plants all weekend, fixing irrigation leaks, checking all of our hoop houses, watering and trying to stay out of the sun during the real heat of the day. I’m so thankful our main seed crops (zinnias, sunflowers and celosia) love the heat and are exploding with all of the extra warmth. The roses are loving it too. Farmers in hot climates, my hats off to you, I don’t know how you do this all of the time. It’s kind of kicking our butts. Pictured here: the rose garden blooming like crazy in the heat and a single stem of Rose Teasing Georgia. #floretseeds #ayearinflowers
