Meet Dahlia Timmy which I named after our farm cat because they are nearly the same color. This dahlia has some wonderful qualities: early to flower, the blooms are born in clusters, the color is a warm, soft peachy-gold, the flowers are light and loose making them great for arranging and it doesn’t get too tall. But as the season progresses some of the full flowers will start popping their centers to reveal a single golden eye. Not my favorite trait. I’ll keep her no matter what to grow here on the farm but I’d love to know what you think and if you’d grow her in your garden. It’s ok if you don’t think she’s a keeper - I want your honest opinion. #discoveringdahlias #floretseeds #dahlia #dahlias #growingfloret
