Reclamation’s Glen Canyon Dam, which is 710 feet tall, is the second tallest dam in the U.S.. Glen Canyon Dam creates 26.2 million acre-feet of water storage capacity that forms Lake Powell, which serves as a water “bank account” and can be drawn upon during times of drought.
