How to hide money from my spouse?
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about my husband EXCEPT for the fact that he has absolutely no impulse control and will buy anything and everything he wants even if we don't have money for basic necessities. We are both checking bank accounts daily (literally just to make sure our cards don't get declined if we want to pay a bill), so I can't just transfer money out without him knowing. I have a separate bank account (actually two), but the shop hasn't been doing so hot lately (nobody has excess money anymore), and I can't take on extra jobs because we have 3 kids at home, so I've got $.81 in total.

5 month old wakes every hour in the crib but will sleep all night next to me.
I'm hoping someone has some advice on what I can do to get him to sleep longer in his crib. I can put him down for bed and he will also for an hour or two before walking and needing to be resettled. After resettling, we can have some false starts before he's actually asleep. 1-2 hours later, we do it again. If I bring him into bed with me, he will sleep a solid 5-6 hours. I'm exhausted from waking up so often at night. During the day he naps in his crib. Usually only for about 40 minutes but sometimes 2 hours-ish. If I let him contact nap, he sleeps longer.

No libido… Zilch
So for 8 years now, I have had zero libido. Like I experience no sexual attraction to anyone. I don’t get aroused by looking at 🍆. Obviously this is weighing heavily on my marriage. At this point we may have bout of sex once every 3-4 months. My husband says I should just keep doing it more frequently and the feeling will return. I’m not convinced. I don’t even wanna be touched or groped. About 8 years ago, I started taking Wellbutrin, and this may be a damper to my libido but, it’s the only thing that works effectively for my depression. I’ve talked to my Gynecologist about it and she said, “just do it and it’ll get better”… 😒 I’ve tried maca root, ashwaghanda, Hers libido pills, and none of it worked. Has anyone had success with a supplement or treatment? I’m all 👀!

Resource Recommendations and Things You Wish You Knew (questions from a pregnant first-timer)
I’m currently 17w pregnant with my first child, and I am experiencing some overwhelm. I have two books that I’ve been flipping through – a generic pregnancy/birth/newborn info book given to me by my doctor’s office and *The Simplest Baby Book in the World* – but I feel like I should be reading and researching so much more than I am right now because I know next to nothing. The issue is that there are so many books and other resources out there, and I don’t know what to pick and choose out of the masses. What have you read/watched/listened to that has really helped you so far? What do you wish you had gathered more information about ahead of time? When did you start taking classes?

PSA for anyone posting
Apparently there’s someone on here reporting users as depressed or a risk to themselves if they disagree with them. I just received a message from the Reddit Care sub with resources for my mental health because someone “voiced their concern”, which coincidentally happened immediately after I disagreed with a fellow redditor in the comments here. Some people have no lives whatsoever 🙄

Baby wear or stroller in airport?
Hi! My 3 month old and I are flying solo for a move. Grandparents will meet us at the airport with a carseat when we arrive. The flight time is just under two hours We baby wear in the house so I can do chores but usually just under an hour at a time as my back tends to hurt and I get too hot. We have a travel stroller that folds up tiny that he likes and it's easier to give him a bottle in it. Which do you perfer for airport navigation? I won't have checked luggage- only a backpack and a diaper bag. Which is easier?

Peanut stinks
I joined peanut when I had my first (she’s 4) week it sucked then. I took a break and decided to join after having my second (he’s 6 months) 1. How come moms don’t want to meet up. 2. How come when they do they want money 😢. Like how am I supposed to make friends?! I’m almost 38- so an older mom. I’m a nanny and I bring my son with my so I don’t make friends at work. I moved during Covid so I don’t know my neighbors. I try and nothing pans out. Hell I’d be happy to just have moms to talk to during the day or at night video chat when the kids go to bed. HELP 😂😂

Does anyone else have a husband who’s not attracted to you since baby?
Sometimes I read these posts where moms are disgusted and exhausted from their husbands pressuring them before/after childbirth and YES I AGREE IT’S TERRIBLE but also like mmm wouldn’t mind a little bit of that sugar over here 💔 At my postpartum appointment my OB was very sternly and pointedly instructing my husband to stay off me for 6 weeks and he was like, “Oh no, it won’t be a problem” so cavalierly. Like no shit, besides quickly conceiving #2 he’s hardly touched me or looked my way since #1 was born 18 months ago. Anyone else or am I literally the only completely unattractive bromo lmao

Anyone a smidge salty their kid looks nothing like them?
This is so dumb, he's happy and healthy and lovely and we all love him, but he came out immediately looking 100% like his dad. I didn't mind, and babies change anyway! But the older he gets the more it's clear I've just copy pasted my husband. Apparently my genes didn't put an ounce of legwork into this baby cause god damn. On the one hand it makes me love them both so much more, seeing the man I love in my son and seeing my son in my husband, on the other hand I grew and passed the damn thing, brown eyes are meant to be dominant just give me one little thing come on >:[ a quarter of one of his eyes is dark brown, that seems to be my entire contribution

Help my 6mo HATES the bath
I feel like I have tried everything! We use a thermometer so have tried warm room (run a shower first and keep steam in), room temp room, warm water, cooler water, upright, laying down on the baby ramp, cloth on chest etc and she screams bloody murder the whole time! Please help! Our current routine: wash her hair first and put hat on, then dunk body into water a few times and wash body then towel off then lotion.

How are you all changing your pro wrestlers?!
My daughter is only 10 months old and I’m having the hardest time of my life changing her diapers dear god! I don’t even know how such a tiny person could have so much strength. She’s literally squirming and wresting away before I can even open her diaper. Getting her to even lay down is a whole job. I’ve tried turning on something for her to watch, tried giving her toys in her hands, even tried giving her the packet of wipes and a diaper in her own hands so she can sit still but nothing helps I’m exhausted. HELLLPPP!

How to get 9 mo to sleep through the night?
I'm desperate for help. Our 9 month old has never been a good sleeper - only sleeping through the night very rarely. The good thing is that once she's fed, she goes right back to sleep, but doing it sometimes two times at night (usually just once) is just exhausting. I've tried keeping her really active in the afternoons after we pick her up from daycare, feeding her a metric boatload soon before bed, etc, but she still usually wakes up at any point between 9:30-midnight. My husband is about to go out of town for over 5 weeks for work and it'll just be me to take care of her plus our two dogs. I work full time and can't continue to be this exhausted all the time. Any advice is appreciated. And when I say I feed her a lot a little before bed, I mean like two jars of baby food (4 oz each) with some rice cereal mixed in plus a 6-8oz bottle half an hour later and she STILL wakes up hungry. We've also been transitioning to actual foods too, but that hasn't seemed to help either 😫
