Family pics, need advice from people with sense of fashion 😅
Mommas! Family pics today and I cannot decide on which set of clothes. Not sure if I wear brown there would be too much brown or if I wear a short sleeve if that will be weird with the other two in long sleeves? Or baby and I’s jeans being the same vs different.

Cold sores
My son is almost 4, he gets cold sores a lot. Every few months he will get a small one. He is sick right now with a fever the last couple days. he now has 3 huge cold sores on his lips. He’s been to the doctor and they didn’t seem concerned but I am freaking out because he is in his fathers care right now as we do 50/50 and I’m just worried… I feel like it’s my fault.

Y’all might remember me from the 5k post
But I’m back and bromos, I ran ten whole miles. Did it take me two hours? Yes. Do my legs hurt? Also yes. Did I take two hours of a Saturday to pawn my toddler off with my husband? Absofuckintlutely. But I did it and I feel fucking great about it. I may be a slow, fat mom with stretch marks, but I hit this goal that I was 100% in control of and I’m going to keep hitting them. Even if my kid does refuse to use the toilet. Le sigh.

Venting
Mom was watching our daughter do gymnastics in her room. I always said that’s an outdoor activity because of her glass mirror/closet doors. Yesterday she did a cartwheel and shattered the mirror. Daughter is okay but the replacement is costing me $600. This is after my wife drove into our garage last week costing an additional $600 for deductible and rental. This was additional money I had saved for a short holiday trip on the California coast. Her response: we can ask our parents for help. Truth be told, we wouldn’t be in this place if rules were followed and she paid attention behind the wheel.

My kid won't stop pooping in the public pool
Not much more too it. The public pool has been closed since labor day with it being out of season, but the last few times we went, every single time, our two-year old pooped in his swim diaper in the pool. The swim diapers we have are ok. He had so much diarrhea one time it leaked out and they had to shut the pool down all afternoon. The other times, we changed him after getting out on the sidewalk right before putting into our car and once we opened that diaper it just spilled out everywhere. We did what we could, but that sidewalk was a mess. The other kids love the pool, but somehow it's become bathroom time for the two-year old. Thankfully the pool has now closed and so maybe he'll be over it next year, but just trying to brainstorm on ideas until then.

make the comments look like your baby's Yelp Review history
Inspired by the "Google search history" posts. I'll start: **Dad's Bottle Feeding** 3.75 stars Occasionally get my mummy's milk from here. Definitely not authentic boob but it does come close. Quality is good but service kinda sucks. I have to wait 5 whole minutes for the milk to warm up, and the server named Dad usually forces me to stop in between so I can burp. Sir, if I need to burp, I'll burp. When I ask to speak to the manager, she's usually hooked up to some machine. Last time, I requested my milk be 98.6 and it was served to me at 98.3. Needless to say I was unimpressed.

Husband won’t speak his native language to the kids
So, my husband is Spanish and speaks really good English too. We live in the UK but we talk about moving to Spain in the next few years. We have young kids (the eldest is 4) but he just won’t speak Spanish to them. He is always too tired, too busy at work, to annoyed at everything. My requests have turned to nagging which I hate. So I have stopped and started speaking Spanish to them myself. So now he is barely speaking to me as he is seething with anger. The bilingualism is a non-negotiable for me but I am not sure how else to ask him to be part of it. Any advice or am I just being a real bee?!

Tired of raising kids
Whine whine whine. Can I get this or that. Still hungry and provided adequate food. In store while I’m trying to get an outfit for my new job and complaining about that. I can’t wait till I throw this birthday party and count down the times until 18. I’m tired. I don’t want to raise no more children. 10 years later and I just don’t have patience. Do my time now. Yes I’m a be a young mom by that age meaning I put my time, I sacrificed my times. I’ll be around for support but shit I don’t never put myself first and it’s just me. This shit draining as hell. Tf like I haven’t worked 20+ days in a row and when it’s my turn to do something for myself I have to hear bullshit. Tf. I’m over it!!! child’s dad don’t help and fuck scum boys have literally living their life. Ugh it’s always falling everything falling on the damn mom!

"Many school districts that switch to a four-day week have never switched back," according to Paul Thompson. Shorter weeks but longer days have shown positive signs for high schoolers, but not so much for younger students. @NimahGobir https://t.co/dlZYolhdNK

Decreasing academic pressure for a student at a competitive high school.
My middle is 15 and a sophomore this year. We live in NYC and he got accepted to a very good public school. He loves it. He gets up super early to make the commute to school on time and never misses a day. He is doing exceptional academically and also plays an instrument, plays sports, and is involved in school organizations. Everyone at his school is doing the same thing, so there is a lot of pressure to do more. How do I make sure he doesn't burn out?
