Shuttle Discovery at KSC 39A ahead of her STS-133 mission. SpaceX leased LC-39A and has done a great job modernizing it. Further changes are to come, with a Starship tower under construction in this viewpoint. https://t.co/fTlFuk72Oz 📸Larry Sullivan/NSF. #ShuttleSunday https://t.co/DvFPb9rNc9

Percival Lowell was born #OTD in 1855. Lowell successfully predicted Pluto's orbit, years before it was discovered. And it was with Lowell's Zeiss blink comparator that Clyde Tombaugh discovered Pluto in 1930. https://t.co/eCr4vjY0dp

Sirius challenge: Find it in the daytime! Venus is sometimes not hard to see with the naked eye in a blue sky, and it's much easier with binoculars. But what about the brightest star? At this time of year Sirius is nearing the meridian in late afternoon. https://t.co/UM1fUgY0Ya

When Space Shuttle Discovery launched on STS-29 today in 1989, its mission was to deploy TDRS-4 (Tracking and Data Relay Satellite-4). TDRS-4 was retired in 2012 after 22 years of active service, well beyond its original 10-year design. More from @NASA: https://t.co/zllWRxpsce https://t.co/v9G7hj5Ua9

Future of Space Travel

I've recently gotten into the future of space propulsion engines. Two ways of propulsion I'm seeing a lot of are solar sails and antimatter rocket engines. Are one of these two more likely than the other to be the future of space travel in the long run or is there another more likely engine to be the future of space travel.
