Milky way over Germany september 2022

I took this photo last year september with my Sony A6400 and a Samyang 12mm f2.0 lens. After stacking five pictures i processed the result in darktable. Location is Erbeskopf Rhineland-Palatine, Germany. Unfortunely i couldnt upload the original image. It has a little more details.

Happy 60 years of the Johnson space center

#NASAHAS #JohnsonSpaceCenter60 This is a required part of the HAS experience and I don’t have social media so this is the best option.

Information on the NACA Special Committee on Space Technology

Long story short, my grandfather was a member of the NACA Special Committee on Space Technology and he passed away before I was old enough to get to know him or ask about his work, unfortunately most of that side of my family has passed away and so I've never really gotten the chance to ask anyone about his work and the things he did at NACA and NASA. I've got some old paperwork and photos of his that I plan on sharing here once I get them more organized and better documented but I've always been interested in his work and the decisions the committee made in the process of organizing America's future space program. Does anyone have good resources/books/videos/documentaries/etc. on the work done by the committee?
