The wildfire smoke is concerning but it allows for some crazy pictures.
This is a single, unedited and handheld shot of the sun. Taken with a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra zoomed in as far as it will go You can see a sunspot here. Pretty insane. I've personally never seen anything like this.

Is some type of astronomical event happening from NY, USA ?! The sky has been in a sunset type haze all day.
I would love if someone could explain the phenomenon happening here! This morning the sun rose extremely red compared to usual. The whole day looked like haze. Some areas had a quick downpour I heard. It's windy. Some parts of the sky look a pinkish/blueish almost as if it's the start of a sunset (it's only 3pm here). What's happening!?
