Heels raise up during down dog
Hi! I have practiced yoga on & off for 10 years. No matter how fit I’ve been or how regularly I have practiced, I can never get my feet flat during downward facing dog. Any tips & tricks for this? Thanks in advance!

Yoga socks advice
I have had to sign up for a new class as my hot yoga is closing. Tonight my feet were freezing. I get cramp when cold and want to get something to warm up my feet. What can you suggest? I plan on legwarmers but it's my feet that are cold.

Do I need to be particular about my mat when I am going to lay my Manduka Yogitoes towel over it?
I have been using my Manduka Yogitoes towel every time I practise in studio over the studio mats (they have Manduka and Lululemon mats) and I cannot for the life of me tell the difference between the two brands. I sweat so much that some form of yoga towel (skidless or otherwise) is definitely needed. I was recently provided with a very old Aurorae mat which is still serviceable. It is barely broken in but the towel makes my practice less slippery. Should I consider getting a new mat? My requirements is that it should be thick and easy to maintain. Bonus points for wide mats. Am considering between: Manduka Pro Lululemon Big mat Liforme XL mat B Mat strong Or should I continue using my anti-slip towel on whatever affordable mat I can find? Does having a towel make you disregard the type of mat you’re using to a greater extent?

discomfort in reverse warrior
I have done yoga at home for a few years. Classes and sessions that focus on flexibility and balance are my favorites and I feel so good when in all of the poses, however I absolutely dread “reversing” a warrior while in warrior 2. It doesn’t hurt, but my body feels uncomfortable, my breathing becomes more unnatural and I just want to move to the next pose. Have any of you experienced this or have other poses that give you a strange feeling?

Do you feel like it’s harder to be grounded in your practice at home versus in class?
I almost always feel really in touch with my body and intentional when I am in the studio with a teacher, but at home I struggle to be able to get to that place of concentration. Does anyone else experience this or have any tips? Thanks :)

Upper back pain
Hi! Does anyone have some tips for pain between the shoulders? I generally take a class every morning and then by a few hours of working at my computer later I have pain between my shoulder blades I can’t seem to get rid of with stretching. Any tips for how to get rid of this? I keep very close attention on my posture.

Ex girlfriend
So I received word that tomorrow, my ex girlfriend is coming to the class I take every Tuesday. She’s never taken this class or expressed interest in doing so. I have been coming here for a couple of years and have a good amount of female and male friends that I socialize with before and after class. I have no idea why she’s coming to this class, but am looking for advise… when I asked her about it, she gave me the devil emoji…

Is power vinyasa a style itself ?
Hello, I've been asked to sub a power vinyasa class, I usually teach Ashtanga based vinyasa flow which is already quite a powerful practice. I was wondering if power vinyasa is a naming to say the students should expect some strong vinyasa or if power vinyasa is a style itself and with some pattern to follow ? Thank you !
