Three years ago today we enjoyed an amazing total solar eclipse. This image, taken from our La Silla Observatory in Chile, shows intricate details in the Sun's corona and, if you look closer, on the Moon too! 🔗 https://t.co/k8r6cMD0Yt Credit: P. Horálek/ @ESO https://t.co/f3azCLWxbr

What exactly is being released from JWST on the 12th?
Is it like images that would be exciting for even average people who know very little about the subject or is it like more “data-y” images that are exciting but mostly for people who are involved in the field. I’ve known about JWST for awhile but only the past week or so have I gotten really excited and looked more into the details of it. I know next to nothing about astronomy/astrophotography I’m just an engineering student who thinks space stuff is really cool
