Need resources on dark matter/dark energy

Hello, I’m developing lore around a science fiction property that I’m working on, and the base for most of the technology in the story revolves around dark matter. I’ve already begun utilizing resources like nasa’s official directorate on the subject, but to to be completely honest I have no frame of reference. Essentially it comes down to not wanting to develop my own language of techno-babble for the story, as I’d like to root as much of the lore as I can in scientific data, before I begin expanding it with my own iteration.

Always blows my mind just how many stars are out there

There's trillions of miles of empty space between each and every single speck of light you see, and even still the stars in this picture aren't even 0.001% of the stars in our galaxy. Photo taken on my phone in a low light pollution area.

What was Opportunity's actual final transmission?

What was the last message opportunity sent? I don't mean the human-readable "*My battery is low and it's getting dark"* version, but the actual last transmission.
