Looking good, Jupiter! Like Earth, this giant planet has northern and southern lights called aurorae. You can see them near Jupiter’s north and south poles, as observed in ultraviolet by Hubble (left) and infrared by @NASAWebb (right): https://t.co/buRNFiC1NU https://t.co/6oykcX7FXd

Objective truths apply to all people, places, and things, as well as all animals, vegetables, and minerals. Some of these truths apply across all of space and time. They are true even when you don’t believe in them. [Chapter: "Truth & Beauty"] https://t.co/hMOhOcF50a

Aurorae form when charged particles are caught by and accelerated along the planet’s magnetic field. They spiral toward the magnetic poles where they react with molecules in the atmosphere, causing them to glow. Find out more about Hubble’s view! https://t.co/UKns2B4VjA
