Does anyone know a good DIY tool to measure angular separation in the night sky?
I'm looking to make a tool to measure angular separation in the night sky but most of my research thus far is quite confusing. I found a link to make a sky ruler but it only measures up till 2.5 degrees of angular separation. I was wondering if someone could help me make a tool that can measure up to 0.5 degrees of angular separation.

When I shop for fruit & melons, I like to hold a Grape next to a Cantaloupe and think of Earth next to Jupiter. Then I eat Earth.

🎶Stop! Selfie time.📸 I took this 360-degree selfie using the Mars Hand Lens Imager at the end of my arm. Up next, I’m headed toward “Maria Gordon Notch,” the U-shaped opening behind me to the left. More details on my surroundings: https://t.co/J8Nbip82S2 https://t.co/DtsrXYYCi5

Last week we harvested these Hatch chile peppers and mmm mm they were good. (Next time I’m definitely going to be better about keeping my hands from my face after cutting them up though!) https://t.co/YVmCx4IU41 https://t.co/hxrYfYtlQZ

What’s it like landing on Mars? Tough! But every time we land, we learn more. When @NASAPersevere landed on Mars, its temperature & pressure sensors collected critical data about entry & landing conditions. Engineer Alex Scammell explains: https://t.co/dCzSvrgHp2 https://t.co/YMOlpavbsX

Busy week on @Space_Station prepping for Kayla Barron and @AstroMarshburn's spacewalk but got a chance to speak with students from Colegio Pumahue in Chile. They built a HAM radio setup and talked with @NASA_Astronauts as we flew overhead. https://t.co/3Sx9iui95N
