For all the people who say the Artemis mission is a waste of money.

I am a preschool teacher and let me tell you, my three and four years olds are amazed! We have done sooo many activities relating to the mission, and the kids are now totally invested in the whole thing. We track it every day, and we have covered facts on the moon, sun and the planets in our solar system. Seeing an object in space in real time has really made some kind of connection in their little brains that has interested them vastly, and hopefully inspired some future space lovers. It has honestly been an amazing journey, even if we didn't go to the moon ourselves!

OneWeb has not only booked three dedicated Falcon 9 missions, but has now added another flight to the multi-launch deal -- a rideshare mission with Iridium satellites set to fly next year.

The Full Moon sets below Earth's horizon in this photograph from the space station. The Artemis I mission was about 207,200 miles from Earth and 180,400 miles from the Moon, cruising at 1,415 mph. #nasa #artemis #moon #earth #fullmoon #horizon #international #space #station

anxiety about the earth ending ....is there light at the end of the tunnel ?

I know it will happen after 4or 5 billion years and I will not be around but the thought that someday the earth will disappear gives me panic attacks . someday everything will end .if we go to mars even mars will end someday because nothing lasts forever and humans will cease to exist..I love stability ,planning everything in advance ,I always imagined that life was infinite like lazy eight ... I know I should focus on near future but I obsess about this topic and think ,,what is point of developing human race and technology if we will cease to exist some day " I have severe anxiety and ocd tendencies ... I am not believer .i do not believe in afterlife ..which gives me even more depressing and nihilistic thoughts This is my recent phobia and I really hope I will grow out of this phase but right now I am really sad and depressed about it .I would appreciate every positive outlook on the topic so much

Having a hard time figuring out y the moon made this big ring around it. Is it just a ring of light hitting the clouds?(this was taken in Flagstaff, AZ last night with an iPhone camera so forgive the lens flare)

You can get with this, or you can get with that. 🔵🔴 Astronomers analyzed data from @NASAHubble through two different filters to piece together how a type of star cluster not found in our Milky Way formed at an unusually young age. Now for the grand #StarrySights finale! The last image in our star cluster celebration shows NGC 1850, about 160,000 light-years away. It includes ultraviolet observations, which are ideal for detecting light from the hottest and youngest stars, as seen in this luminous view. https://t.co/EgISlm1XJS
