Co-founder ghosted me
Me and my co-founders has been building a startup for a year now. We are still an early stage company, and looking for funding. Our tech co-founder hasn't been replying to my messages and calls for almost two weeks now. I know he's alive, because he's been playing DnD with one of the interns. He's our only programmer currently and super important for the company. The product won't be progressing without him. He has had difficult behavior and tantrums in the past. However, we've had a good relationship, and he hasn't been angry with me, but he had arguments with a previous programmer. He's studying currently, and I know he's busy with that, but I hope I could get some answer from him. We also have daily meetings, and he doesn't show up. What should I do? Should I try to find a new technical co-founder?

App idea
I have an app idea that will be a great success. It serves a need for every person on the earth. My question is, can you sell just an idea? Or how can I find someone or something to spearhead turning this idea into a business? I have zero app making experience. Honest questions, please don’t be a jerk. Thanks for any help. Good day.

How do I go about finding a trustworthy co-founder?
I plan to begin a startup after finishing my masters and getting some work experience, the problem is that I'm not a US citizen so I will need someone with citizenship who is trustworthy and compatible with me to take care of the legal stuff and have me be employed so that I can keep my visa. From talking to other startup founders I know how stressful it can be and how much involved you have to be with your co-founders, so without citizenship I can end up in a very precarious position, which is why I'd like to begin the process of finding someone I can _really_ trust on a both personal and professional level soon.

I’ve been watching a lot of @ycombinator videos lately because that’s the only place I feel I can get true, applicable, and actionable advice as founder. From wellness, tracking real metrics, growth, and building a company. It’s inspiring to hear from people who’ve done the work.

Is it okay startups to embellish the truth?
I’m referring to tech/science startups in particular, but could be relevant for any. I’m curious how serious it is if a startup claims they have achieved something, when in reality R&D is ongoing. For example, if a company claims to have “developed a product that does x, y, and z” when in reality it is still very much a work in progress. To me it doesn’t sound like the right thing to say, especially if investors are putting money in based on that. But i’m wondering if that’s just what all startups do?…

Google Alerts for knowledge workers
I’ve seen some new “workplace search” tools which let you search across your email, Slack, CRM, JIRA, etc. But I haven’t seen the inverse, where you can ask to be updated (and summarized) when things are changing, like Google Alerts for internal data. I think this could be useful in a lot of industries, like wanting to get an update on a contract, and data may be split between Docusign, Salesforce, Slack, email, etc. I’d want it to be conversational as well, as a chatbot, like if you got the summary alert in Slack, you could ask it to dig into details or ask it about the context, like what other contracts that company has with us. Sound useful? Anyone already doing this?

Would experienced folks please simplify the following terms : Equity, ESOP, MSOP, AMSOP & Convertible Notes
Along my work experience, I understand the first 2 terms. However, came across a deck yesterday (SaaS company ) and questions arose : What are MSOP, AMSOP & Convertible Notes - Why are they important & for WHOM ? How do they contribute to the valuation of the company ? Sidenote : Examples that would also be great to look at & understand. Any math around would be really awesome !
