White sand as far as the eye can see, a subterranean fantasy land, breathtaking mountain ranges... the list goes on and on. See it all on these day trips from El Paso. https://t.co/JlQSBW9E7y

from nicholashennink on James update: We had a very productive meeting to discuss a treatment plan for James yesterday. His estranged family came back together and stood strong with us. There is gratitude all around for the amazing support and finances now available to help this extraordinary young man. God is working miracles. I need everyone who supported us to know that you have made a HUGE impact on someones life. You have shown love and sparked hope again in this families life. We wish we could hug each and everyone of you. Love you guys. ❤️

You don’t need to be Provençal, or French, to embrace pastis. https://t.co/qZJJFgkaW3

Photo by MichaelGeorge / Did you know there is more to LGBT history than Stonewall? NYCLGBTSites is working to make an invisible history visible. They have mapped over 350 sites in all five boroughs, from public art to gravesites to nightclubs and bars. For Pride, I'm collaborating with their team to showcase a few of these sites. First up is the iconic "Angel of the Waters" statue by lesbian sculptor Emma Stebbins. Installed in 1860, this was the earliest public artwork by a woman in New York City. Additionally, in Tony Kushner’s 1991 AIDS-themed play "Angels in America," the statue is featured both in the opening sequence and as the backdrop of the final scene. In this carousel you’ll find a photo that I took this month paired with an archival photo from the Library of Congress taken in 1901. Stay tuned for more scenes from LGBT history. Happy Pride!
