Have anyone tried something like this for their back pain/posture? I'm thinking of adding it to my yoga and stretching routine. I need your thoughts.

Have you ever been to a yoga retreat gone bad?
Title sums it up. I’m a yoga teacher and I’ve never been on a retreat before. Nor have I hosted one. Some of these retreats are in pretty remote places. Do you have a story about something that went wrong? With the teacher or the group? Any interesting stories welcome!

How do you manage students who are disruptive and have no clue what you're saying because English isn't their native language?
I taught a class with 3 ladies from China, given that this is an English speaking class, they had very little knowledge of english and did their own thing in class. When I told them not to lift up their thighs yet in a bow pose they would keep lifting it up even though I used hand gestures to signal the thighs to remain on the floor first. When everyone was in childs pose they would be doing some pose of their own. Also during class they would talk to each other and giggle. Because I spent some time guiding these "lost in translation sheeps", I felt that I was neglecting the rest of my class who were focused on their practice. Anyone experienced similar incidents and what did you do?

How to stay focused?
My mind keeps wandering during yoga and meditation. I always try to get rid of it by focusing on my breathing, posture, and the sounds around me but it’s starting to feel like a chore trying to bring my mind back to the present.

I received a comment on my channel from a person saying that folding forward and lying on the back was unavailable to them, sadly they were under the impression that they couldn't do yin yoga for this reason. So, I wanted to put together a little sequence of seated yin yoga. I hope you enjoy it!

Slower pace in down dog app
Hi! I've been trying the down dog app for a few weeks now and I generally like it. However, before paying for the subscription I have a question I was hoping you guys could help me with. The pace option in the app changes the time between poses or how long you hold the poses for? I've been doing Full Practice and I feel like it shifts between poses too quickly and doesn't give enough time to each pose for the muscles to really engage. Would pose holds be longer in the slower pace (to which I don't have access before paying for the subscription)? I've also been doing Ashtanga, and the holds are longer. Unfortunately, because I usually do shorter sessions, it seems like half of the poses are forward folds. Thank you!

Did you know that 30% of the global population is not able to access essential health services? 😔 Healthcare is a basic human right. Everyone should have access to the health services they need when and where they need them without financial hardship! https://t.co/cvewoASlhy https://t.co/jhIMXK5qr2
