Poses for strengthening your pelvic floor?
Any advice for poses I can do to strengthen my pelvic floor? Ever since having my son, I've had a very weak pelvic floor and it's really annoying for many reasons. (Anyone who's experienced it will know what I mean š ) I've tried kegels and other methods. I know cat and cow will help some in that aspect. Any other ideas?

lower back pain from fall
hello friends! I recently had my first hard fall from rock climbing - I was about 8ft in the air and fully parallel to the floor when I fell and landed on my lower back. I don't believe it's anything serious, just feels pretty dang tight. any recommendations for some nice easy movement that can help alleviate the tightness I'm experiencing?

Will this go away ?
Hi, I accidentally left some dumbells on my yoga mat for a day. When I removed then these holes had formed. It seems to very slowly go away (it's been more than 24 hours) but I'm not 100% sure. Do you think it will go away ?

I am into yoga specifically as a meditative practice. What actually matters?
Yoga means "union" and I've heard its ultimate goal is to unify the mind with everything else to put vaguely. I used to practice just seated meditation, but it is very difficult to just have a practice of sitting there, observing the mind over the long-term, unless you are very disciplined and feel very restless in the body. It seems like yoga had similar goals to Buddhist meditation despite some differences in ideas. Anyway, **what really matters and what doesn't?** I think modern Western yoga does show a lot of the physical side and the poses do have authentic origins, but it has also been criticized for losing the deeper, meditative purpose. If there is a better subreddit for this, please recommend. This one is very broad and I don't really go on here.

Vinyasa for beginners?
Hi all, Looking to get into yoga but where I'm at the only place that offers yoga at a good time is vinyasa. Not sure if it's appropriate for a beginner like me to get into that? I read hatha is better. I am male, with good physical strength as a regular gym goer who lift weights but not sure if that's counts for anything.

Does anyone else feel incredibly panicky in pigeon pose?
I have been practising yoga since my teens and had a break since last summer until now. Its been amazing to get back into it but I have noticed in pigeon pose my hips are incredibly tight and I feel this horrible sense of tension and panic all over. I know there are some beliefs about storing emotion in your hips? What is this about?! And does anyone else get the same thing?

Pain on inside of knee during knee flexion
I know the first thing is that if it hurts, don't do it, and I have been following this. But I often get a sharp pain on the inside of my knee a little lower down towards the tibia during child's pose with wide legs or heros pose(I end up sitting on stacked blocks for this one and the pain is gone) What is strange is when I do a quad stretch from a kneeled position and pull my foot towards my glute, I get a fantastic stretch, can sometimes get my foot to touch my glute and no knee pain! I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this. I know seeing a PT is probably good for this, but figured I'd see if anyone felt this and has come up with ways to alleviate the pain. Or if the more anatomy interested practitioners had some thoughts.

I have a bit of yoga experience, whatās a good daily routine that will make me super flexible?
I really want to be flexible, like, legs behind your head, fold in half, all that stuff! Iām not really sure where to start, though. Iāve done a bit of yoga here and there, so Iām not co in the dark, but can anyone recommend a good daily routine? Iāve just been doing a Sun Salutation in the mornings and evenings.
