Do power yoga classes and wheel pose in the evening affect sleep?
I attended a vigorous power yoga class two hours before bed time yesterday. The class included energizing backbends including the wheel pose. Then I had trouble sleep. Does this happen to you as well? I love this yoga teacher and the class time fits my schedule well. I wonder if I should avoid the class or simply modify some poses to fall asleep more easily. Well, I also have multiple work deadlines coming up so I wonder if my sleep issue was related to yoga at all. I appreciate your suggestions!

My actual skin is sore from vinyasa last night
I’ll preface by saying I’m extremely flexible and it’s not uncommon for me to feel nothing until a minute or two after holding our pose. I took an amazing heated vinyasa class last night and the instructor was helping me get deeper into the stretches. I never felt like it was too much, but I when I woke up this morning my back is slightly sore and my actual skin is sore/sensitive. This has happened before after getting into deep poses but I’ve never figured out why. Does this happen to anyone else or does anyone have any theories on what could be making my skin feel sore/sensitive to touch? Edit: it was a yin class, not vinyasa :)
