Beginner Downward Facing Dog Tips
So I just started doing yoga at home last week and I love it. However, the one pose I’m not confident in is Downward Dog. I know my shoulders and chest are two of the weakest parts of my body so they tend to be the first part of my body to begin to fatigue. With that being said, is shoulder fatigue normal in downward dog? It’s NOT pain, nothing hurts or stings; it’s more like the burn you feel when you’re at the gym and you’re really using your muscles

Injury Question
Hi all! I am new to a regular yoga practice and have recently been doing gentle and yin yoga 5 times a week. I love it. Problem is, about three weeks in i overstretched my rotator cuff and now am having moderate to mild pain there (worse at night). I haven’t done any classes since the injury (6 days ago) and it hasn’t really gotten any better. I want to return to my practice but am wondering if that’s a good idea. What types of poses are good for this type of injury? Which should I avoid? Should I avoid yoga all together or can it help me to heal? Thank you!
