She was crying near a bush near the beach this weekend. Trying to get peoples’ attention but no one came to her aid. One of our incredible volunteers decided to follow her & in the bushes were 4 newborn babies. She was trying to get help. We took her into our care - her and the babies were flea infested and dirty. We had her checked out and then transported to one of our amazing puppy fosters, lisafantocone & Avery. They are just over a week old. Mom is able to rest and has been a doting mom and is so thankful. We have set up a wishlist. We would love supplies for this family - link in bio. WWF-US stands with the LGBTQ+ community in this journey. We are deeply proud of our diverse body of staff and supporters, and we are dedicated to fostering a sense of inclusion and belonging for all. Photo from Alaska Animal Rescue, marathon airing tomorrow at 5/4c as part of #AlaskaWeek. // Sea otters often float at the water's surface, lying on their backs in a posture of serene repose. They sleep this way, often gathered in groups. #AlaskaAnimalRescue https://t.co/BnyhmxYUyC

Lola is happy at home with Rosemary and her big new family, as evidenced by her love of belly rubs and some pretty epic tail-wagging! This Best Friends Day (6/8!), show homeless pets across the country that they, too, deserve friends to call their own: https://t.co/xXINSKkw1v. https://t.co/bu7pCHSswe

When you #volunteer, you not only help make a difference, but you meet the coolest people. BFFs, Stephanie & Patricia met while, you guessed it, volunteering! For both women, volunteering was a part of life, so when our team in #Atlanta needed transport drivers, they signed up! https://t.co/tt4zqaVsuL

Since then, they have been on 2 transports together, saving dozens of lives & having a blast while doing it. According to Stephanie, they have "developed a true sisterhood. It may not always be easy, but we're able to give back to the animals that can’t speak for themselves." ^kw https://t.co/kRAGIFq5PF
