Seasons change, life changes, and mist comes 🙂. It was a beautiful crisp morning, and there was some low-lying mist around. Pelican floated through, it was so peaceful! .. #pelicansofinstagram #australianpelican #best_bird_planet #wildgeography #wildlifeaddicts #sunriselover #pelicans #feather_perfection #bird_brilliance #birds_of_instagram #best_birds_of_ig

The Eastern Meadowlark is known for its utilization of farmland and open fields. Many know them for their lovely song, colorful chest plumage, and squat stature, a distinct white tail that resembles a star, and their widespread breeding range. The species can be found breeding from Canada down to Colombia, which makes it a unique species. Sadly the numbers are in decline. Land usage is changing, with increased pesticides, mowing during the nesting season, and the never-ending desire to develop land. All birds are handled with proper permits and training. Never handle wild birds without them. For questions about handling, research, and why we don’t show how we catch birds refer to my first pinned post.
