President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief bill cleared its final congressional hurdle Wednesday, with the House passing the measure on an 220 to 211 vote, sending it to the president for his signature. Most Americans will be receiving direct payments of $1,400, with checks going out within days. The bill provides new health-insurance subsidies and child-tax credits, while extending $300 per week supplemental unemployment benefits into September. There’s also $360 billion for state and local governments, a bailout for troubled union pensions and funds to ramp up vaccinations and school re-openings. Read more at our link in bio.

Small tutoring business, best payment method
I've started tutoring students online and earn around $4000-$5000 a month. I've only been doing it for 4 months now. I accept all my payments through paypal, but I started getting an issue where some people would open a dispute and get their money back after I spent hours helping them out. So instead, what I do is I send a Paypal request for $x to my own email account, then I copy the link from my email and send it to the student. So the student pays as a guest through that link entering their credit card info and I get the money on Paypal. This way no one can make a dispute on paypal since they paid as a guest. But I'm worried about some student doing a chargeback through their credit card, or claiming that it wasn't them who entered the credit card info. Since they paid as a guest through my email (and on paypal the transaction shows up as <my email> <their address> <their credit card>), is this something I can get in trouble for?

How to ensure that buyer sending me let’s say $40k to my company account is protected if it’s the first time they are doing business with us and we are a startup?
Basically the buyer wants to be protected, incase anything goes wrong, if product/service not delivered or I as for example take money and run away which won’t happen obvs just using analogy, how do I ensure buyer is protected? For example on alibaba there is buyer protection. I have heard Letter of Credit is an option where by buyer and seller (me) banks are involved where if I don’t deliver product/service, my bank will pay buyer bank. Is there any other option for first time buyer doing large transaction business with us to ensure they are safe? Thanks!

How Do I Price My Product for Distributors
I sell a product in the US through my website and Amazon where I control the retail price very easily. I have it manufactured overseas for about $3.20 and $0.80 for shipping and fees. So $4.00 landed/each I sell this for $23.97/each through my website and Amazon Now a distributor has approached me, asking for my price. They sell direct to end-users in bulk as well as distribute to other suppliers. Are there any suggestions on how to price this for them? My idea is to double my cost, so $8.00 each. I am working with them to figure out quantity, which is a large factor. They also want my product custom-branded to their name if possible, which is a subject for a different conversation. Any pointers on what to do or what to read/research?

When do you start paying yourself?
For context, I run a side business that I just ran out of my garage last year. We did well enough that I’m moving into a storefront this year and what not. My only problem is I never actually paid myself at all. I reinvested everything and I feel to continue to have growth that will have to be the case for awhile yet. So my question is, how long did it take you to start paying yourself and what variables took part in the decision?

Shipping Concerns for my small coffee business! HELP!
I’m about to launch my small coffee business on Squarespace. I’ll be selling bags of coffee directly out of my home but the merchandise will be shipping from a different location through Printful when someone orders something. If someone orders only a bag of coffee I can charge them for USPS cheapest shipping around $5. If they get more than 1 bag of coffee them I can small flat rate box charge them through USPS for around $8-$9. My issue comes up when they order coffee and merch and for me to not eat the shipping costs and make profit out of this business will cost $15-$20 because it’s from two different locations. Nobody is going to want to pay that much in shipping for coffee and a shirt. Any help on how I could manage this? Any advice would help! Thanks!
