Someone please help me stop the spam... it's getting so overwhelming.

Facebook, Instagram, email, contact forms, comments, it's non-stop! I get it. Anyone and everyone is a digital marketing guru these days. Please for the love of God how do I stop getting so many messages. Between all the different services I use, I get between 20-30 digital marketing ads every single day. I have a small business, half the time I have to decide whether I want to even acknowledge the messages I'm getting... are they real potential customers or fake. I will accept any and all advice on how to cut this down. Please help.

Workers comp insurance premium - 20% of yearly revenue?

Hi everyone, my wife and I started a cleaning business aimed towards residential and corporate office cleaning. The LLC is just her and I, a partnership, with no employees. I am projecting about $20k in revenue for the first year of business. We have general liability insurance and have a client asking about workers comp. I received a quote of about $4,000/year for workers comp coverage for both of us using all of the information above. Is this a typical ratio? 20% of our revenue would be going to workers comp insurance? Seems absolutely absurd considering the rate will also go up if revenue is higher than estimated.

Small Business Advice for Storing Inventory

Hi All, I have recently started a small business dedicated to supplying some parts for a certain toy product that consumers really love. I'm wondering if there's an option to not rent out a storage space at a UHaul or use my own home/garage. Simply put, an option to have the manufacturer directly ship to the consumers themselves? And if this is significantly more costly than owning my own inventory space? Otherwise, what's the cheapest option aside from storing parts in my home? These parts are individually-- pretty small. Roughly the size of a human hand. Thank you all!

I was reading about people that were self employed..and, I thought an LLC was more or less the business structure they used..but..apparently a single owner LLC can be pierced during a lawsuit to get the personal assets of the owner, so, given that liability hurdle, is C corp actually better to use?

Shopify Shipping Nightmare - Looking for new online shop host suggestions welcome

I just made my first sale on Shopify and noticed that the price that Shopify said it would cost to ship a certain package is actually costing double than what they charged my buyer. I contacted them and they don't let you put a custom package size, only weight. WHICH IS CRAZY! I make pottery and everything is a different size and weight, as with most things people are selling. Therefore, everytime I sell something the cost of shipping that they charge dependent on where the buyer is located will be significantly less than what the actual cost will be. Why on earth do they not provide this service and what online shop provider do I need to switch to? Do any of them provide an easy shipping service? Would love some advice!

<30 Employees. Current PEO offers absolutely trash insurance options. What is everyone else doing?

Currently chatting with JustWorks and they're saying I have to provide my current prices and plans. Seems complete ass backwards to have to show them my current prices and THEN they give you a quote. Anyone else have experience with them? If not, what else are you doing? Blue collar field so the last thing I want to do is tell all my guys they'll have to find their own plan on the open marketplace which is an absolute fucking mess

I want to start a call center.

I've worked in sales my whole life and multiple call centers, top rep at every company. I've also trained hundreds of people for other companies, so why not. I figured I'll start small with maybe 10 reps. All I need to know is what product to sell or what debt (to buy and) to collect?

Financing a Small Business: Navigating Loans and Cash Flow

We're considering opening an açaí bowl business. After finding a great licensor and trying their amazing product, we researched commercial locations and local competitors, and we're confident it could be successful. The licensor recommended having $150K-$250K in cash. We currently have $150K in cash, and my husband makes $113K a year. But we're also looking to buy a $450K house and have received pre-qualifications for paying either 5% or 20% down, depending on how much cash we want to hold for the business, and this asset might benefit us to carry a business loan. Are there loans available for our situation, and what type of loan should we apply for?

Two businesses, one POS

I am collabing with another small business at a local event. We will be selling our own items, and were wondering what you all would suggest for card transactions? I want to make sure we don't mess up our taxes or anything like that. We would like to use a single POS account to prevent confusion from customers, but also don't want the business who owns the account to be unfairly taxed. Suggestions?

What alternatives have you found to old social media?

Is it just me, or are Facebook and Instagram just not as good for local marketing as they used to be? Two years ago I would get 3-4 calls a month off of Facebook while posting about once a week. Now I can’t remember the last call or message from FB. Insta is similar… the right hashtags in photos of my work and I was getting likes from around the world, now I get a few from my IRL friends and an occasional marketing page. Have you noticed this also? Where have you gone to make up the difference? Maybe they still work, but my methods are outdated. I’ve looked at Nextdoor, but seems *too* local for me, it costs to advertise, and I don’t know how many people really use it.

Anyone know a good place to find someone to help me cold call?

I hate cold calling. I own a photography business. I do a ton or social media marketing and face to face sometime. But I feel like I’m missing out because I suck at cold calling. Anyone know a good place to find someone who can spend a couple hours a day cold calling potential clients for me? Thanks.

LLC question Tennessee - Real Estate and Small business

Quick question. I am a real estate agent, but I also run a small business out of my home where I do some wholesale for local businesses. Can I create a single LLC and do business under the name of that LLC for both of these activities, even if it would be two different “types” of businesses (real estate plus whole sale)?

Niche question about Bill.com

Hi - I understand this is super niche but wondering if anyone has any guidance. I'm in Canada most of our companies clients are in the US. As such I have a Wise account that I adore for currency conversion. There's a long term client moving to [Bill.com](https://Bill.com) for paying. For Bill I set my company up as a Canadian company but then I can't set up a US bank account with my company. Like I can setup a Canadian USD account but that doesn't help me, I want to plug in my WISE USD account. I talked to the client Admin and they suggested just lying in my profile setup and saying I have an american address which I'm not super opposed to but I worry it has legal and/or tax implications? Does anyone know of a good workaround or am I stuck eating the extra 3% in conversion fees vs WISE ty for reading
