What resolution could a JWST sized spy satellite achieve?
US law restricts commercial satellites to a resolution no greater than 30cm/pixel. The resolution on spy satellites is obviously classified, with rumours of sensors being able to resolve 1cm/pixel. Theoreticaly, what resolution could the JWST (in the correct orbit) or a similarly sized spy achieve?

Thinking about nuclear reactions which take place in low-mass stars on the MS like the Sun and what we actually observe, which of the following statements are correct? Select all correct answers. Question 3 options: 1. The nuclear reactions in the core produce positrons (anti-matter) which we observe. 2. The nuclear reactions consume H and produce He in the core. 3.The temperature in the core reaches 100 million K. 4.The temperature in the core reaches 15 million K. 5.The mass of helium exceeds the mass of 4 protons. This mass difference is converted to pure energy. 6.The nuclear reactions in the core produce neutrinos, which we observe

How is Nebula distance calculated?
Hi Everyone Fairly simple question but I'm having trouble finding this answer specifically for Nebula What I have found so far is the Stellar Parallax for stars ( d = 1/p ) and galaxies (d = zc / H - where H is the Hubble Constant) Any ideas? (if possible try and keep it in layman's terms) Thanks

Helping brother with astronomy project, any guidance?
My brother is doing a project on the subculture of those who are fascinated with astronomy and is mostly writing about the factual, philosophical, and theoretical ideas in Astronomy. He is a senior in high school and is asking for some ideas and I want to help. Are there any mind blowing topics of discussion that could be mentioned?
