Should my LLC be paying me for leasing a room in my home?
I own a Medical Transportation company and currently use a room in my home as a home office. I was recently asked by the Department of Health to provide a lease agreement between my LLC and myself. As I was going about a way to draft this, I thought whether or not my LLC should be paying me to lease the space? How would this benefit me?

Help with Growing Electrical Business
Hi all I have a small electrical company with my husband. We were getting steady work through maintenance company. They have slowed down. I have reached out and fill out paperwork to be a subcontractor for other companies. No one ever calls back. I signed up for Home Depot pro and getting some leads through there but not much. Angis list and next door is awful scam. Any ideas on how to grow? I appreciate it!

Shipping
This might sound stupid but this is my first time ever getting an out of state order, I've never shipped a package in my life and I'm not sure how to go about it😅 I don't have a printer at home so I can't print the label there, do I just take my package straight to USPS and have them make me one?

Purchasing an established business
I’m in the process of purchasing a small hobby business from the owner who’s wanting to retire by September 1st. I am going to be moving the business from its current location and I’m not sure about the logistics. Does anyone have any experience to share? I can’t keep it in the same location due to the rent of the current building doubling when I take over. Do I work into the purchase agreement that as of whatever date I hand over the check it’s mine and close it for a week while I move or ????? I’m at a loss and want to make this as easy as possible. I’m a little worried the new owner will say I get it 9/1 and the owner of the building wants me to pay rent for a month while it’s moved to the new location where I’m also going to need to rent. Am I over thinking? Not thinking about this enough? Thank you for your response.

Business Acquisition Financing Options
Hi, I am looking for inputs from others who have experience with business loans and small business acquisitions. My wife and I are targeting to buy a business ideally at around \~$2m and $500k EBITDA (4x multiplier) in the US. A smaller cash flow / EBITDA does not really make sense for us to invest our time given our other income sources. Based on my research so far, SBA loans are not an option for us unless we go with a much smaller business acquisition (we have about \~$1M net worth). I was looking at some regional banks but so far it looks like they don't really offer loans over \~$750k (I might need to look deeper though). I guess our only option would be non-bank lenders with higher rates in combination with seller financing (a must-have). I'd appreciate any advice on how to best approach financing in our situation and whether it is realistic at all to assume we can shoot for the numbers above. Thank you!

Small Business Owner - Do I need to create a new LLC for a new business or can I 'umbrella'/nestle it under existing primary business?
Hi all, I currently have a small business registered as an LLC S-Corp named let's say company 'A'. I'd like to create a new business (similar field - ecommerce), that I'd like to call company 'B'. As I am the sole owner and employee of company A, I'd like to keep things simplified with the start of company B and was unsure whether or not I could run company B under company A to primarily keep tax purposes possibly more simplified, but I'm not sure if that keeps it more simplified or not. Also, for legal purposes, I did not know if I needed to create a whole different LLC for company B or if it could operate through company A. If it was feasible, I was curious to know if it was as simple as setting up a DBA for the new company or if it is wiser to to consider a different solution?

Ways to fund SBA loan?
Hi! Does anyone have any advice about how I can fund an SBA loan down payment? Let's keep it simple and say I need to 20% down payment for a 500K business so maybe worst case I need 100k down payment. I don't have it and the seller isn't interested in financing any of the business. Is there anything else I do can do cover the SBA down payment? The business as assets/equipment can I do anything with that to fund the down payment?

Incfile mailbox address not valid, anyone have this issue?
I have an LLC in CA but just moved out of state. I signed up for a mailbox and registered agent with Incfile. I'm now trying to do a USPS address change and business license application in the new city and with both processes I'm being told the address isn't valid. The address has a suite number and a 5 digit number after a "#", I assume one or both of these is causing the issue. I'm going to call Incfile but wanted to see if anyone has dealt with this problem before

Stop or keep being delusional with my idea
I just finish reading an article which is the conversation between Sam Altman and his bother Jack Altman on how to build startup or business. One thing that I think its not as straight forward as it is is to not stop when doing startup. I understand that if you are quitter you wont go anyway but we are talking about losing battles to win a war. I always found myself in a situation of either to stop or to continue. The thing that I am building does not have much traction but is it because it will not work at all or it takes time to work ? I have no clue. Stopping an avoiding wasting time on shitty idea or try to make the idea work ? For now my approach is to stay serving the same group of people but solving different problem. How do you guys deal with stop or continue situation ?
