Describe the feeling you got from the best yoga session of your life.
Recently took a class at a new studio and not sure what it was but something in my mind and body clicked and I had this inexplainable feeling that just felt so good. Curious to know how others would describe the best feeling they have ever gotten from yoga.

Tips/Hacks for reverse bind and flamingo?
I've been practicing for many years and I still cannot get into a reverse bind/flamingo from a twisting prayer, which is usually the route my instructors go. I feel like I can't be any further from getting my hands together. I'm male, tall, pretty flexible and have no trouble with a traditional bind or getting into bird of paradise. I'm slightly double jointed which feels like it inhibits me in this one pose, but my teacher says that's not it, it's my leg positioning. Help! I've found there are often little tricks that you learn to get into a pose and then are like "oooohhhhhh, that's how you get there". I'm looking for that "aha moment". Any tips or tricks would be great.

Pendant, my new favorite ab pose!
Also works shoulders and lower back, for me the perfect trifecta. Started about a month ago with it, and today got so I could hold it a full 5 breaths. It’s so much fun to see the progress come, even at almost 70yo. Thing is, even just trying it does good.

Yoga tips that made a pose "click" for you?
I was on Facebook a while ago, commenting on how skandasana was always a problem for me, I could never keep my foot flat or feel balanced. Someone commented to hold my folded leg as if I was in a malasana squat, and next time I tried it, I successfully skandasanad for the first time ever. Does anyone else have tips like this, that just worked?

Can someone please give/make me a 10/15 minute routine?
I do BJJ, climbing and running and basically my hamstrings and hips are tight, my back is always chewed up - I can’t find any short routines that help and are super effective. TIA

Has anyone found it difficult to find a yoga bolsters available for purchase in stores?
I would like to be able to feel the firmness of a bolster before I buy one, but it seems every store only has a shipping option..... Has anyone been able to purchase a bolster directly from the store in person?

Injured
So last September someone tried to kidnap me and I escaped by jumping out of his truck going about 50 mph. I sustained several injuries. My worst injury was a fractured heal. I was just told by my doctor that part of my foot didn't heal properly and I may always be in pain, may never get all the feeling back in my foot, and worst that I may have a permanent limp. It was very traumatizing when it happened and I had little support. I miss yoga so much, it was very therapeutic to me but I'm scared to go back to it. Should I talk to the teacher and I'm injured? Anyone have any experience doing yoga with an injury? I'd like to reclaim my life.

Yoga practice to real life crossover
How long to see benefits of yoga/mindfulness practice transfer from the mat to real life? I have found myself in stressful situations and hoped that my practice of breathing and centered thoughts would carry me through or prevent or shorten anxious reactions. This has not been the case so far, and I’ve been disappointed. Is there “training” I should be doing? Thank you.
