I’m a barber and have been for a few years now I have the client base to where I can sustain my own business, local barber since the 60’s fell ill with cancer and his business is up for sale, he wants what he paid for it over the years which is astonishingly low, I don’t have the cash to buy it outright and my credits not the best because I’m young and made a dumb financial mistake when I was 18. Am I paying too much for business fibre internet?

Am I paying too much for internet? I have a business that is not in the city. There is a splice point junction of a Fibre supplier near the building. They had to construct about 1100ft and installed a 10gig ring. I only use 200mbit symmetrical and pay $975/mo. $4.875/mbit. I have a contact at our local school ESU that says they pay $.50/Mb from the same supplier. Is education discount really that much? Trying to renegotiate with the company after my initial 5yr contract ended, the rep says he might be able to get my boss down to 850/mo. If I sign another 5yr. So what do you guys pay?
