What’s your criteria for buying a game so that you don’t blow your money?
I usually spend $300 a year at least on games I barely touch. This year I purchased Elden Ring and Pokémon Legends due to hype and played each for less than two hours. I also bought a Steam Deck which is super cool but I haven’t been able to play it might. When I get time to play I usually just end up playing FIFA, COD or MCC. I kind of hate myself for this because I’ll put hundreds of hours in over the years but I don’t put any dent into my backlog. Trying to stay strong and not buy games even when in my head I imagine playing them through and enjoying it. How do others go about making the decision to buy a game? As child it was a very carefully thought out decision. Now I impulse buy 30 seconds after the idea pops into my head.
