What is Worse? 1) Luna Collapse? 2) FTX Collapse? 3) SEC Ramping Up Their Efforts to Cripple Crypto Securities* and Exchanges?
I mention these three crypto headlines because they are the most recent tragedies to befall our space, but each brought in a different kind of collapse. Luna collapsed because its algorithmic stable coin UST broke. FTX collapsed because it falsified its liquidity, and quite frankly was a fraudulent CEX. And now we have the SEC targeting securities, and even more so the major exchanges. So far history has been on the side of crypto and crypto has clawed its way back from the dead. Do you think - when all is said and done - this most recent catastrophe will be nothing more than a blip on the ever-evolving crypto radar?

Don't forget your Reddit vault
As most of you will already know, Reddit is changing the way that third parties will be able to access the API at the end of the month. Unless something changes in the meantime, third party apps will be shutting down. As a result, lots of subs will be going dark in protest on the 12th, with some closing down completely. These changes are likely to mean that Reddit will lose users. If you think you might be one of these users, don't delete the Reddit app without either backing up your vault, or transferring your funds to another wallet. As I understand it, deleting the app will also remove your access to the vault, and you will not be able to get it back if it's not backed up. Don't lose your moons because of someone else's bad choices

Father is pissed at me I bought bitcoin
I decided to invest into Bitcoin and hold 2 coins. Father is extremely mad at me and says “you just ruined your life buying fake money” I studied a lot about bitcoin over the months and how it works. I showed him some of the things I have learned to his screaming reply “you bought a scam! A pyramid scheme! If you would of bought stocks it would of been safer” My father has not spoken to me in over a month… his loss. I honestly believe Bitcoin has a bright future, despite the current situation with SEC, Bitcoin will prevail, and all those shit coins will be destroyed. He is missing out. I live on my own so its not like I used his money or borrowed any either. Only my money.

Someone needs to invent a decentralized on/off ramp.
Seriously. This would be an insanely massive opportunity ($1T end market in fact, even in this bear landscape let alone the sheer volume). They would be the sole player. The main concerns to navigate in decentralized governance would be the concern of tribalism among stakeholders, getting shut down prior to launch / achieving critical mass, and shitcoin / scamcoin flooding. Hell I'd do it myself if I knew anything about legitimately building a decentralized protocol. I mean, is this even possible? We always talk about central points of failure and I feel like this is the last wall that is holding crypto back.

With Binance.US looking like it’ll be unusable for the time being, is Crypto.com the only exchange that I can use as an on-ramp for fiat to BNB token?
Basically question above, I have been using Binance.US exclusively for awhile for all by crypto buys and if they are getting their assets frozen I need to find another solution for my on-ramp into fiat. BNB is one of my long term holds so ideally I’d like to have my back up exchange to support BNB. It looks like Kraken & Coinbase do not but crypto.com does. I have used it in the past and it’s probably my least favorite of the three I mentioned above. Is there any other exchanges I haven’t listed above that allow me to on-ramp fiat to BNB directly? Thanks

I tried to show all important metrics and stats about bitcoin in a clean organized app. It’s available everywhere and Bitcoin only. If you have ideas for improvement I would appreciate any suggestions. :)

Last year around December 2022, we were a lot lower than we are today...this is not a crash, this is usual crypto volatility
People in crypto gets shaken so fast and forget how it was last year. In December 2022 we moved around 16k, then during spring 2023 it did a 100%. Many coins recovered (sry ALGO, you didn't recover and I made so much loss because of you. Rant over) Crypto is very volatile asset, for stocks it needed years to grow or fall. With crypto it all can happen within hours/days. This fact makes people forget time. We can drop more from here on or we can go up, butt don't make a too big fuss of it. If you still believe in crypto, justt keep DCAing and ignore all the noise around you. Impatience and emotions are bad traits for investing. We are here for the longrun. Enjoy life, spend only what you can afford to lose in crypto and consider your money as "lost" money. When the bull decides to come back, you will be grateful for the "lost" money to re-appear and to have grown.

What will the BTC fee be if mass adoption happens
I just had a slightly grim realization. The BTC fee last month went up to about $40 or close to that. That was due to an unfortunate meme coin season (and ordinals too, i think?). Now it was a little annoying and my transition took multiple days. But that season was a short one. And after the settled dump, the BTC fee went back down again to below $5 My realization is, if we all want mass adoption and we all speculate about what is needed for it to happen, but what about the fees that come with it? With a lot of people the traffic will be crazy and we might see fees higher than $40! Meaning if adoption spikes, it might dump again due to that very reason. I know theres an L2, but what if majority of the adopters seeks for decentralization?

Anxiety Much?
I finally understand why the younger generation is so stressed out. CRYPTO!!! Crypto has just had so many setbacks lately that it I'd easy to lose hope and forget the big picture. I feel bad for anyone who needs their invested funds. Unfortunately winter is long but we will rise again. For now find something that makes you some extra cash and leave your investment. Do some overtime, find a part-time job if you can. Just do something. Don't just sit around and wallow in your misery. Keep busy your time will come. Be ready for when we rise, we will go to the moon 🌙 Anxiety No more!!!
