For a long time I was dreaming of building driftwood houses. And now when I’ve bought driftwood and a $10 bandsaw from garage sale, I’ve finally built this little farm house. What do you think? 😊

Handknitted the detailed logo from the Indie Sellers Guild which rose out of the massive worldwide E-t-s-y Strike in the tens of thousands. First time my intarsia and fair-isle were neat, EVER! 🤸 (Hope this is right to post mods being a logo that is not my own?) ✊🏽

No one guessed the anime from that work... But it's ok because the inspiration was the retro anime "Wicked city" 1987 . Maybe it's too old for anime fan 😆

Replica of Coolest Sculpture I've seen

I am trying to recreate Felipe Pantone's "Subtractive Variability auto" sculpture to gift to my mother. She used to be an artist and this would mean a lot to her. [http://www.casestudyo.com/2019/06/subtractive-variability-auto/](http://www.casestudyo.com/2019/06/subtractive-variability-auto/) It has 3 rotating acrylic disks with CMY gradients on it. I am an engineer and can figure out how to make the contraption but I would love some advice on how to get transparent high-quality gradient on acrylic. If anyone wants to cop one of these, I can ship you one of these as well, once I figure it out. Minimal cost too.

Question about fixative

Hi r/crafts, I had a quick question about which fixative I should use to coat a metal ring. My wife and I have somewhat "amazon quality" wedding rings because we liked the style and aren't interested in a big expensive ring. The thing is, these rings are partially painted, and I fear the paint may be rubbing off due to wear. Is there any type of clear-coat I can put on it that will protect the paint and metal without wearing away through regular use?
