Since the pandemic began, more than a million students have held off from going to college, opting to work instead. Skilled-trades programs are the exception. @anyasteinberg @ElissaNadworny https://t.co/sw8bxl9uUs

School only allows one set of ear piercings

So, I don’t want to be that guy but here we are. My daughter just started back at a new school and has been asked to remove her second ear piercings, that she just got done a few months back. I have no issue per se, it is however very annoying. She just wears 2 simple studs, nothing in your face or dangly. I’ve told her that if that’s the rules, that’s the rules, she doesn’t want them to close so has suggested she take them out for school & replace in the evening, to remove the following morning - I can’t see that lasting long though. Does anybody else’s school have this rule, I get no hoops etc or nose piercings etc but seems a bit much to me. I just wish I had known and wouldn’t of let her get them done!

I'm so sick of spaghetti. What are your go-to weeknight dinners?

We meal plan our weeks and I'm sooooo sick of our usual staples. We eat pasta on Mondays for lunch leftovers for a few days, and the rest of the week is an endless rotation of what feels like the same 10 meals. Googling weeknight dinners gets frustrating because of the complexity or time to cook it. What are your weeknight dinner staples?

PowerPoint can be a very powerful visual aid & important tool for training... if it's done well. It isn't so much about pretty images, but more about organizing your thoughts before you even open your computer.
