Just saw a Jeep with D.I.N.K painted on the side. Must be their answer to "tell me you're insufferable without saying you're insufferable"
Like good for you, I guess? I know plenty of child free couples and none of them feel the urge to advertise their choices in such a way. Don't know. Just found it funny and thought I'd share.

SAHM hack
Maybe this is obvious to mom pros but it was a revelation to me. SAHM life is not for the weak. I had been struggling with finding some way to squeeze in some me time to decompress and feel like a real person again. I have a very active 7 month old boy who is an absolute treasure but demands my full attention 24/7. I considered putting him in daycare once a week but even that felt like too selfish of a cut into our already tight budget. Then I found the answer to my prayers. A gym that provided childcare. I can go a couple times a week and hand the baby over for two hours at a time while I did what ever I wanted in the gym. I can take an unrushed shower, sit in the massage chairs and read a book or play on my phone in silence, interact with real life adults, or even exercise or whatever. All for $30/ month! My sanity might just be saved!

Full on crying my heart out tonight
My 3 ½ year old is non-verbal, awaiting full autism testing but strongly suspected. For 18 months at least he's had 4 words. Yeah, no, more and Mumma. Tonight he's tried to say 4 new words. In 1 NIGHT he's doubled his vocabulary. Granted, it's going to take work to reinforce but OH MY GOD HE'S TALKING. I had to keep signing happy at him, because he was signing sad at me because I was crying. This has been the happiest night of my life for months. I have never been so emotionally overwhelmed with happiness, except from when he was born.

Number of Diapers
I’m a FTM of a 6 week old baby boy. I knew we’d be doing a lot of diapers but I was wondering if this is normal. Ill breastfeed, he’ll get fussy so we check his diaper. It’s full of pee so we change it and then as soon as we change it, he’ll poo. Is it normal to do 2-3 diaper changes in a span of 10 minutes? This isn’t the case all the time but it’s like he waits for a clean diaper to go poo. Just curious if this is the case with other babies, if I’m doing something wrong by changing his wet diaper too soon or maybe this is all normal.

Dicks and Balls
My child (10f) has been complaining about the kids at her school and on the bus talking about genitalia. It’s mostly boys, a few girls. We openly discuss age appropriate terms and body parts, she asked a lot of questions, but this still bothers her quite a bit. Every day she comes home and we discuss it. I explain that kids are looking for attention, that she has to control her own behavior. She is upset that the teachers/adults don’t do anything about it. Last year I spoke to the principal about similar behavior and some bullying, she did talk to the kids on the bus but it only helped temporarily. I know this is something that isn’t going away and will only get worse in middle school. There probably isn’t one thing I can say that will make her feel better, but I’m open to suggestions. Thanks

we lost a whole ass vacuum in the house
This is bougie as fuck but our Shark vacuum broke down, the one we bought specifically because it was supposed to be able to handle our dogs' fur... They're very large and very hairy though so it lasted about a year. We've got three floors to our house so my husband suggested instead of buying one really nice vacuum again we could just buy three mediocre ones and have one for each floor. Except we *lost* one of the fucking vacuums. An entire vacuum has just disappeared off the face of the planet. I'm not convinced one of the dogs didn't drag it outside and eat it because they hate vacuums.
