I took out my abrasion tool again, for a look inside my next rock target. Mars is starkly beautiful on its surface, and even more interesting underneath. #SamplingMars Latest blog: https://t.co/Kjg122pE81 https://t.co/SzApam0cAi

Good things come to those who wait. Teams will begin tapping one of the last unopened Moon rock samples acquired during Apollo 17, around 50 years ago. The goal is to learn more about the lunar surface in anticipation of upcoming @NASAArtemis missions: https://t.co/q6P2KpSSvp https://t.co/hRN5FRnC4j

Mars Observer story. The picture is very cool, but the story is very interesting. It's long but worth the read. I'll put it in the comments section

It took a lot of software engineering to get astronauts to the Moon. In this now-iconic photo, Margaret Hamilton, who led the Apollo flight software design, stands next to listings of the Apollo Guidance Computer source code: https://t.co/cltglVSA6j #WomensHistoryMonth https://t.co/zlvZH0ZlFJ

Each state has its own climatic threshold for flu outbreaks. Data from the Atmospheric Infrared Sounder on @NASA’s Aqua satellite reveals outbreaks are closely tied to local weather, specifically, to low humidity, and vary from state to state. https://t.co/RVtGNc3zaR https://t.co/zq3AZN3fP6

Mars is pretty easy to spot low under Venus at dawn if you look 60 to 80 minutes before sunrise. At 30 minutes to sunrise they're higher but the brightening sky is swamping Mars. By then you may be able to pick up Mercury and Saturn with binoculars. https://t.co/y6X3ddM5nG https://t.co/E7fvs1PcZP

What exactly are we looking at here? 🔎 This photo, taken on this day in 1979 by Voyager 1, is the first evidence of a ring around Jupiter. And no, those other lines aren't broken bobby pins, they're stars (the result of spacecraft motion during the 11 minute exposure). https://t.co/SZrPxGYtUB
