Could someone please ELI5 what the implications of a figure in this paper for me?

[http://arxiv.org/abs/2207.08452](http://arxiv.org/abs/2207.08452) Figure 5. I do not think I understand what exactly isochrone fitting is nor how they got extinctions and ages from the fits. How do the bottom panels even work?

Space Shuttle Atlantis (right) makes way as Space Shuttle Colombia (left) rolls to the launch pad in August 1990. Atlantis had just finished repairs from a fuel leak, and its flight would be delayed further by hail and a tropical storm. In the end, it flew before Colombia that November.

Would now be a good time to start a moon journal?

I have an assignment where I have to record the moon for 4 days in a week, with a span of 5 weeks. Would this be a good time to get good views of the moon? I live in Florida.
