Hello i have been doing yoga at home pretty regularly (around 3-4 times a week) With pilates as well for the past 2 months But i still feel very stiff and I really dont feel like i can get deeper into stretches and i would like a reality check

Most effective poses for upper back strength?
Hi all, My back has been completely wrecked by years of carrying my breast weight in my lower back. I have been working on improving my posture but it turns out that I don't have the upper back strength to hold the weight of my breasts very long before I inevitably end up hunched over again. I work in an office setting and would like advice on what yoga moves I can do throughout the day to strengthen my upper back muscles. Any advice at all is appreciated.

Yoga is hurting my hands and feet (similar to arthritis feeling)
I’m 30 so don’t think I have arthritis although I use my phone too much and I do have hyper mobility issues. My hands and feet are sore for days after yoga, not like a good sore muscles feeling, more like an arthritis/carpal tunnel pain feeling in the ligaments or between joints. I think it’s due to stretching out the hands and feet/toes and putting more pressure on them than usual. I’m doing classes with qualified instructors but it’s a variety of types of yoga and positions, but every time my hands and feet hurt during (more shooting pain) and after the session. Is this normal and will it go away? Any tips to reduce this?

Lots of “Popping” normal?
Hi all! Are super-poppable joints a normal part of beginning a practice? I crack when I roll out of bed, I rotate my wrists and listen to the (nice feeling) pops. It’s not 100% of the time but it’s a huuuge increase compared to before. I’m new as of January to a consistent/now daily practice, and I’m wondering if all this popping is normal or concerning

Mixing online videos with face-to-face classes.
Hi! I have peen practicing for about 5 weeks, Initially I was doing it mainly online, but this past two weeks I have been attending face-to-face classes to get some feedback, and apparently I deeded it a lot! I cannot attend classes than once a week, so what are your thoughts/experiences on mixing online with face-to-face videos?

Yoga pros, how do you breathe while bracing your core?
Hi all Trying to undo years of horrendous posture and body mechanics. Came on this concept of keeping core tight while walking / sitting. However, still at the noobie stage and it takes a lot of mental effort. As well, feels obviously constricted. Any tips for keeping a core tight while maintaining *relaxed* natural breathing?

Breathing in for Yoga
Has anyone had any trouble struggles breathing in for long or filling your lungs ? I always feel like it’s almost a second or two before I max out and I don’t even drink or smoke. Never have. What could the cause of this? What can I do to improve it? Sorry if it’s a dumb question. I have doing yoga for only a few weeks with some stretches and while do feel physically it has stretched my body, mentally I still don’t feel good and I think it’s probably because of the inconsistency in breathing technique. I’m completely new to this but have been facing some physical/sexual/anxiety issues in my life, so please pardon me if I sound like a novice but wanted to see if someone has gone through something similar

Hip cracked!
So I was doing a back bend. Not sure what’s it called but you arch your back, puff out chest and try to grab the back of ankles. In the attempt my front hip cracked. It was loud and the weirdest feeling. It was intense pain for a few seconds but I walked it off. Now it’s just sore. Any recommendations on how to fix this?

Before I can start fixing my posture, what issues do I have? I can identify APT, FHP, and hunchback. Teachers adjusting you during grounding and meditation
Is it alright for teachers to correct their students during the grounding phase (the first 5 mins before we start the practice) or when we are in meditation? There's a student who likes to lower her head slightly to activate her throat chakra while grounding and this teacher keeps lifting her head up straight, she looks annoyed and as a practitioner myself I wonder if we should be interrupted while meditating because of our chosen bandha position
