The man who was decked by police and arrested after grabbing at Queen Elizabeth II's coffin has given some very wild reasons for his behaviour. Muhammad Khan, 28, was taken down by police after he allegedly shoved a child out of the way before he lunged for the Queen's coffin on Friday. Footage from the scene shows members of the public looking shocked, and a man being tackled to the ground by guards. Appearing in court after the dramatic incident, the 28-year-old has now explained why he grabbed the Queenβs coffin in the first place. Khan told the court that 'he did not believe [the Queen was dead' and wanted to check, the Daily Mail reports. He also allegedly claimed to the court that he planned to write to the Royal Family and, if he did not hear back, he 'planned to trespass at royal residences' to find the Queen himself and speak to her.
