Canadian here, we have an infant and children’s acetaminophen and ibuprofen shortage. We were brought home this Tylenol from the USA (border town). At first glance who would you say this is for; infant or child? The dosage is for children but why does it have infant listed as well?

Apparently I am also a toddler.
My toddler always wants to play with me and 80% of the time I’ll happily oblige. So of course it bothers me when he hands me a toy and then immediately wants it back. I argue with him that it’s my turn and he needs to wait his turn. And then my almost 30 year old ass will somehow find ways to play with this thing for at least 3-5 min until it’s his turn. My mom saw me do this today and thought I was losing my mind to tell my 2 year old that it was my turn to play with the truck. I can’t believe that I’d be the only person to do this lol but she sure made me believe I was…! The method isn’t always without whining and the occasional shriek but it’s been working pretty well for teaching *some* patience.

How many hours of sunshine per week are needed to reduce chances of developing myopia?
Title basically but for those that like a backstory: I wear glasses. My mom and aunts wear glasses. Several of my brothers and sisters in law wear glasses, as would both of my parent-in-laws if they were around, etc. Lots of myopia in the family. Plus, I'm kind of a basement dwelling computer goblin type, I generally don't go outside just because. I know sunshine has a lot of positive effects - not just for preventing eye disease, but for mental health, vitamin D and more. But "just get outside more!" is too vague to be actionable for me. So, about how many hours of outside time per week are needed to protect against myopia? My LO is only 9mo, but I want to develop healthy routines early if I can.

Anyone else’s hands age like 500 years after giving birth?
Is it the breastfeeding maybe? My hands (of all things) look so old, dry, and boney (bony?) now. I’m super self-conscious about it. They weren’t like that before. Everything else seems okay. Just a rant!

We need more studies like this! And this information needs to get to parents who believe an hour or 2 of screen time a day (for a child under 5) won't have any long term effects https://t.co/eZZSjuJN2J #ScreenTime #ChildDevelopment

My in laws have no clue how sickness, germs, diseases work
And it has a big impact on my family. My daughter has gotten sick AGAIN because my SIL has no idea how sickness work. We had plans for an outing two weeks ago and she didn’t give us a heads up about her daughters atrocious cough, we would have opted out of the event. Anyway, we are there and her daughter is coughing all over the place and she says not to worry because as long as they don’t get wet they won’t get sick…..I’m sorry but are our children GREMLINS??? Instead of thinking her sick daughter coughing all over my daughter got her sick…she insists it’s because I let her go barefoot in a kids play gym at the event (no shoes allowed). She did not let her daughter do this as being barefoot causes illness apparently. She also blames the fact that she wasn’t wearing a sweater….even though it was 85 degrees. I’m just so frustrated with this entire family refusing to listen to science and modern medicine and clinging to old wives tales.

Vitamin A
Where I live they recommend against feeding babies animal liver because of the high vitamin A content, and on the Solid Starts app they also warn about feeding babies more than a few spoons of liver each week because of vitamin A. However, I recently read that sweet potato is high in vitamin A too. So my question is - why is liver a problem and why is vitamin A a problem?
