I'm a space nerd and I just saw something I cannot explain.
I was stargazing tonight with my family, and I noticed a bright object, as bright as the international space station, but it was moving super fast, maybe 3 times faster than the ISS. And it wasn't the ISS because we had seen it just a few minutes before and it was going far slower, like an LEO sattlite which we saw many of tonight. In all my time star gazing, I have never seen anything like this. I'm wondering if there is a new bright satellite that I don't know about that matches my description or something else I am not sure. I live around the 45th latitude of the USA, I won't specify where beyond that. The object was moving east.

I found this big-ass lemon while exploring the JWST SMACS image. You can see it warping the space around it too!

What would be the best route for learning astronomy at a university undergraduate level
Hey everyone … I’m not quite sure if this is the best place to post this (if not please let me know), but currently I’m trying to essentially teach myself university undergraduate level astronomy mainly through online research and stuff like that Which is why I am asking here what are the main topics I should be looking into? And what are the best online journals or sources (without a paywall) that I should use? Hope some of y’all can help me with this, thanks!

Serenity now? Not really! This is actually the site of two colliding galaxy clusters! However, we invite you to give your own meaning to this and other animations from our Giphy account! 🔗 https://t.co/IVbbmd1EOs https://t.co/jYQIfrubiY

Celestron starsense 10” Dob Vs Celestron 6se telescope
I have been looking for telescopes and i came across these two. I am looking to observe galaxys, nebulae, star clusters and planets. Each telescope has its own benefits and cool features. And i think i need another opinion. So reddit, which telescope is the way to go?
